A week or so later, Dick brings Soph onto his show too. Another guy who's bemoaned people pushing their kids into politics bringing this kid on, and out of the blue too, and the audience of course fucking hated it. But not only did he bring her on, he continued to bring her on for a few more appearances afterward.

The difference between these two is that Ralph is a greedy, hypocritical, impulsive retard who couldn't find a principle if one walked into his bedroom and put a paddle to his ass, and Dick is a guy intelligent enough to not only be a major player in the company he works at (I can't quite remember his job title), but to also be a successful author and podcast host who rakes in over $22,152 per month from his show's Patreon. It's not rocket science that he did it to help his buddy Ethan out.

I think Bibble is far more likeable than certain other Killstream cohosts and his bad British accent did make me laugh the other day, but yeah he showed a bit of a lack of self-awareness there. There are levels to all of these games, even e-celebrity, and if you don't want to risk embarrassment, you need to properly understand what your place is at the current time. It's like if you see a very successful cousin or uncle once in a blue moon at a wedding and get over-excited and say "can you get me a job there? I tell you what, I'll email you my CV", the family member will have to say "ahh, sure, that's an interesting idea, er, of course, let's see what we can do!" and then hope that you have the good sense in the meantime to not follow through or at least give them an out where they can let you down gently before you get your hopes up too much. Bibble should probably have reached out to Jim before broadcasting the big get and when his DM gets ignored, taken the hint. Can someone explain to me why the gunt gets to brag about never paying back his student loans? How does that work in the US exactly? Over in the country I live you basically don't have to pay back your student loans when you're unemployed, but the moment you file income tax they will know and start demanding you start paying back. This all happens automatically, granted, all student loans here are granted by the state and I believe in the US you have private institutions giving out student loans?

Still, I find it odd that the gunt can brag about making 50-200k a year while dolphin laughing about never paying a dime of the money he borrowed back. How come they're not on his ass yet?

I just assumed it was a lie, but Ethan is part of the "white trash" demographic and they have a predilection towards obesity, substance abuse, and making awful financial decisions like defaulting on secured loans. Student Loans here in America are the kind of debt that doesn't go away easy and if he was stupid enough to default on Federal or State Loans, they can eventually just take money right out of your bank accounts (with restrictions of course, like I don't think they are allowed to take funds received from Social Security Disability). It is extremely unlikely he'd have a warrant issued for his arrest for any government loans, but it can happen in rare circumstances.

Long term it absolutely destroys your credit and can be difficult to rehabilitate said credit with these kind of defaults hanging over you. This isn't like DSP with his retarded credit card debt or even defaulting on a mortgage, it isn't going to be discharged and they can't put a lien on a college degree. Combine this with his felony and you essentially have a person who can't build up his assets like an otherwise normal person. They can even take bitcoin and other crypto-currencies (which he should have been reporting on his taxes) and if Ethan ever wants to buy land with a sweaty wad of cash, he is vulnerable to creditors wanting that too. Forget about getting a mortgage for a house and if it is a Federal loan, a lot of your usual protections for your retirement accounts can get waived.

People are often surprised what the Department of Education can do to you, they can even be nastier to deal with than the IRS. If Ethan really isn't paying his student debt, it is probably a sign he doesn't think he'll be around long enough for it to really bite him in the ass.

Basically this, Ralph is notorious for shielding his "friends" when something incriminating happens. The first example I can think of was the very early days of Donga's downfall when Ralph let Vampkandy be a mod in his YouTube channel to ban all the Anime Mafia accounts that were in the chat and any other accounts talking about Donga (which at the time Ralph refused to cover). This was right before the IBS Apocalypse stream when Ralph and Donga were still on good terms.

I would say the most egregious example was back in February of 2019:

This was back when it was revealed that Andy was fucking that whore that shoved the pinecone up her ass and had been talking to her while he was still with his ex. Andy had went on Zoom's stream and severely incriminated himself admitting to his coke use and also admitted to stealing his sister's pain medication when he was younger. Ralph refused to cover it and actively defened Andy by saying "oh everyone is sick of hearing about Knoxville" which was complete bullshit. I would say this is most like the Dick situation twofold: 1) Ralph is good friends with Andy like with Dick, and 2) Financial ties, this was a month before the Miami saga and Ralph and Andy moving in together, Ralph was thinking that the IRL stuff and the Indiegogo they were planning could be in peril if he's forced to criticize his friend... Ralph has financial ties to Dick with NewProject2 and could potentially lose the chance for future meetups with Dick which could mean lost money potential. It's things like this that drove away a lot of his old fanbase, would say "this is a news/politics stream not a drama stream" when his buddies mess up, but by God if Donga, Sargon, Ian Miles Cheong, Kraut, or anyone else fucks up it's "what do you mean, the Killstream has always been a drama stream!".

I don't think that Jessie has a real reason to hate Dick that would be understandable by the Killstreams audience. Essentially Jessie picked a losing side and instead of jumping ship he doubled down. The guy relentlessly tried to troll The Dick Show subreddit, facebook groups and Dick himself.

It would be funny and somewhat interesting if Jessies trolling was similar to people like Cameron Clarke who is a long time Dick Show troll who is very critical of Dick for realistic reasons. However Jessie would dox fans, he doxxed Dick and his entire family on a stream and he called Denzel, an African American recurring guest a nigger. He did all this on his show which is pretty unwatchable.

The Podawful show consists of Jessie sitting at his PC and having his braindead fans call in to talk about nothing in particular who all have shittty internet and laptop mics. Jessie is incredibly unsuccessful and it's not for trying. He has been at this for a decade and he still hasn't hit his stride. There is definitely a grain of truth to what Dick was accusing him of, he's a failure.

When Porsalin, the guy who makes feature length documentaries about Opie and Anthony does a stream it's Jessie who is moderating his chat. When Revenge of the Cis do a crossover with the Killstream Jessie is known to them and they kind of think he's a weirdo. EZ PZ did a video on Maddox and Jessie is in his comments bragging about how he knows Maddox.

This guy has a work ethic that would greatly benefit someone with actual talent. But, Jessie is missing the basic fundamentals of being a comedian or even having a show format. It's just quantity over quality. He successfully got Jim to want to talk to him, he's known to many popular content creators but he STILL has nothing to show for it.
