That's completely false, the Washington State model which was used to justify the shutdown included significant social distanceing.
The model is just flat out wrong.
There's a really obvious answer as to why, which is millions upon millions more people were actually infected, and their cases were so mild that they didn't even notice making the actual fatality rate a fraction of a percentage.
I don't know where you're living but it was 80 degrees yesterday and Lowes, Home Depot and Ace Hardware parking lots were at capacity.
There were so many people trying to get into the Lowes & Home Depot (they're within 500 yards of each other) than the main road leading to them was backed up three traffic lights.
The Democrats had to know they couldn't maintain this farce once the Spring hit in full force, even the city cops who had a massive presence the first two weeks don't give a shit anymore.
For reference I live in Virginia, and I still haven't gotten my Trump bucks, thankfully I can work from home.
