First you said that the crowdfunder was set up to deal with the civil claim and when that was shown to be incorrect, you claimed that it was only a trickle up until that point. I have the receipts to demonstrate that over £4k was received by the start of January 2019. And that I did indeed seek legal advice over Tombstone Teeth and others and was given an estimate of costs. There was an influx of activity around the time of the Green case and indeed I have a screen grab of my friend who set up the Crowfunder promoting it on 23rd March, when the Green stuff was kicking off and before she dropped it. The civil claim didn't actually add more than a few hundred pounds to the total.
I provisionally offered any surplus in my crowdfunder elsewhere, in August, on the proviso and assumption that there would be a few K left. This was before a further court hearing in October and also before a number of legal bills came in, that I was personally responsible for, dating back to the injunction and a bunch of IT forensic work, court fees and admin fees. There was never any offer to pick up legal fees already incurred. The offer to fund my legal bills came 4 months after the original claim and after I'd been subject to attempts to have me put into prison. Do you really think £5k would cover all that work?
As for whether or not I checked with donors - I would have done prior to actually handing any funds over. I have actually spoken with the woman who set it up and who has communicated with the large donors who have indicated their consent for me to use the money however I want. The aim of the fund is self-explanatory: it was to defend me against (non-specified) legal issues, which started with Tombstone Teeth, but was not limited to them. Nowhere did I say, or represent this was the case, not least, because I did not set it up, it was set up to support me by two friends, not BY me.
When it comes to my MacBook Air - and I cannot believe that I am sat on KiwiFarms justifying my choice of work equipment, (which you claimed was for personal use) it was bought with my income, from a weekly column I write, from paid media appearances and from other employment, because my old MacBook Air from 2011, had fallen over and I was being quoted £800 for repair because the motherboard had died.
I bought it because it was easy to transfer all my files and data over from my old machine and because I needed a laptop to run various pieces of software for my new job. I don't care what yours cost. A MacBook Air does not currently cost anywhere £2k - check the Apple website, and neither did I need specific design software or memory otherwise I would have bought a Pro. I went to the Apple store (with my husband who is far more up on these things than I am) discussed what I needed and why and they recommended the Air as being the right machine for me. You don't need to buy an extra keyboard or mouse with a MacBook. They are an integral part of the hardware. Surely a journalist would know this.? I may not be doing journalism, but my job still involves being able to run various pieces of software and to use multimedia software and design packages. But why on earth should I even be having to justify this?
At the time the Crowdfunder was set up I was not earning brilliantly well and while I was trying to put aside some cash for a rainy day, didn't have thousands that I could just lavish on legal fees. Who does?
I bought my computer because I was starting a new job in 2 weeks time and needed it. I knew I would have the money from my first month's salary. I bought it from my own money, not the Crowdfunder, which went into an entirely separate account , on the day that the claim was issued against me in the High Court. Before any money came in from sympathetic rad fems to specifically fight the case. I have receipts which can account for every single penny which went on legal bills as expected.
This whole thing is making you look impervious to evidence. It's bonkers that you think that Adrian Yalland was stood-up, speaking to a judge, with the Claimant sat about 10 feet away while simultaneously and repeatedly posting on KiwiFarms. Don't you think the judge might have rightly told him off or someone in the court brought it to the judge's attention? He was sat 3 feet in front of me and my husband and was not on any kind of device, but taking hand-written notes, while I was having a meltdown because I was being informed that I was being reported to the police (once again) for being Real Mutha, who were supposedly coming to arrest me.
