He's inundated with tweets, emails, letters and fuck knows what else on a daily basis to promote sonichu comics from randos and nobodies who see the grift and want to pull a Nasser Rabadi with some half baked back end payment deal using a shit tier artist desperate for attention.
If anyone has been paying attention to the comicsgate hashtag its almost no commentary anymore. Its flooded with people who realized six months ago that shilling "OC" ripoff books to paypigs can be profitable and EVS's channel guarantees that the book gets funded.
It has to be annoying to set yourself up as primary gatekeeper then have every get rich quick comic sperg in the world blowing your shit up to get a plug as evs watches his own numbers decline.
If you look at case studies like Stealing Solo the blowback for supporting literal trash ends up hitting Ethan instead of the creators. Paypigs look at him as the kingmaker and letting mailbox matt and cecil field the unending requests for plugs is a lot easier than getting in a hundred DM conversations a day about why -their- sonichu comic is better than the other sonichu comics.

Fear not though PAID advertising is still allowed -especially in the $50-$100 range- and you can always open mic sperg your plug in the 5 seconds before he cuts you off to make fun of the autistic flailing.

I'd hesitate to call Aaron a SJW since he calls out the wokeshit, is pretty civil to CG figureheads and seems to be pretty well adjusted in general. Nice guy, worked on the Darkwing Duck comics.

Ethan invited the CG plebs to make "tweets, emails, letters and fuck knows what else on a daily basis" back when he felt like he needed them. This was how the whole Preston Poulter feud started, with Ethan inviting nobodies to literally harass him for promotion. But I think Preston had successfully funded and delivered Guinevere and the Divinity Factory at the time.

Clearly he doesn't need them anymore, which means he'd rather not have to deal with them existing which of course is his right. Paypigs will be remanded strictly to the chat from here on out.

I've watched it twice and I keep zoning out but the jist is "show us the police report/stream or you lying", "I checked the (presumably wrong) local papers and police and found nothing" and "why didn't he milk it for all what it is worth?". Does anyone know if local papers report all SWATtings? He also mentions concerned citizens, I had a quick google and all I found was a child care advocacy service and random facebook groups.
