Synopsis: “It wasn't very good, and I literally never read it. I wrote half of it in one day, by writing 1k words an hour per hour for 24 hours. I hit the 50k word count about 20 minutes before midnight at the end of the month, and I'd planned to edit the novel in December, but I was so sure that I wouldn't be able to repair it that I just gave up completely. I always assumed that it was unreadably bad, but upon finally revisiting it, I was surprised by how much I still liked parts of it--so I decided to record an audiobook of the whole damn thing.

I'm releasing the book only simply because this is very very old work of mine that I don't want to be released to a wide audience, or without a ton of context surrounding it. I have no desire to see any critique of this thing either, because I am very, VERY well aware of its myriad issues. A week ago a Chinese-American Youtuber who usually makes anime videos made a video on the topic of Covid-19 and criticism towards China. Digibro responds in the comments:

He linked this video on his twitter and his comments about China caused some drama in the replies, which lead to him saying that he thinks that the virus is a manufactured bioweapon and that Bill Gates is behind it. He says that his wife, May, is the person who convinced him of these things:

There was also another instance of him saying that he believes that China's poor handling of the situation caused the virus to spread that was posted to his subreddit.
He made a Youtube video where he talks about a Japanese voice actor dying (of cancer, not Covid-19) and briefly mentions that he thinks that the Chinese leader, Xi Jiping, is responsible for deaths caused by Covid-19.
He linked this video on his twitter and his comments about China caused some drama in the replies, which lead to him saying that he thinks that the virus is a manufactured bioweapon and that Bill Gates is behind it. He says that his wife, May, is the person who convinced him of these things:

Digi watches Metokur, so I imagine that he got a lot of this conspiratorial nonsense from Metokur's early streams of the virus. Hell, I believed half of this stuff when it was still in China, but came around to being actually educated about it when it actually came to the United States. This just seems like Digi's usual shtick of doing the most minimal amount of research before talking about something, and then refusing to budge whenever he's called out on it.

May is unemployed and doesn't work. She goes to an online community college for public relations or poli sci? Idk something that's not relevant or worth spending time on. May worked at Target briefly then quit about like three years ago and just hasn't worked since. Her goal is to become a stay at home house wife (lel) which is hilarious considering neither of them have health insurance and Digi's Patreon is nosediving.

I follow Digi daily and was a huge fan because of his early output. I'm now mainly fascinated with his downfall because of his poor decision making and lack of foresight. Part of the reason i made a KF account is to keep this thread updated.

Just some examples of lack of foresight:

1. Doesn't have health insurance but wants a child ( Enjoy those baby medical bills)
2. Only Drinks Mountain Dew and his teeth are rotting (doesn't have dental)
3. Owes the IRS money
4. Can't focus on any project long term
5. Most likely has developed Marijuana Codependency
6. Enabling Spouse not to work or develop social skills
7. Sedentary and fat

Something interesting he keeps talking about right now is a shift in career away from youtuber which is lolsy considering it's a global pandemic. Now is not the time to mix things up buddy. His Patreon has hit it's lowest point outside of when he first started. I don't think his relationship with May will last once he can't maintain their standard of living and i'm waiting for him to panic once we see another huge dip in $$$ next month.

I blame his patreon nosedive on his lack of consistency and focusing on really shitty side projects. Everyone knows about the bad visual novel. The latest cringe is he posted an album about being gender fluid and it's clearly just a shitty version of the electronic duo Black Dresses. For those who don't know Back Dresses are two trans women who make music about the world being against them. Inb4 Digi comes out as Trans (It's most likely going to happen at some point).
