I used to watch both these faggots, there doesn't have to be a reason really. At their core they're simply contrarians. Godwinson is a deviant who loves nothing more than drama and messing with people. That's all he cares about, he is the Eternal Anglo. This isn't nearly the kind of drama I thought it was when I woke up this morning lol. Still kinda interesting as far as looking at how a non-issue was able to snowball into... whatever the hell this is supposed to be. It also feels like a non-issue and quite forced but I can't quite write it off as nothing since the fallout has brought some things to light. The fact PPP and Godwinson were able to get under Dick's skin so easily is odd enough but Dick being so friendly to Zoom is perplexing to say the least. I'd thought his reputation was more widely known at this point but I forget sometimes that Dick isn't as invested in autism as we are; his actions in the immediate aftermath of the pillstream was evidence of that. I never took Dick to be the kind of person to block people on Twitter either so that's an interesting development as well. PPP's termination is suspect as hell. I wouldn't be surprised if it could be traced back to Ralph somehow. That's the only part of this that feels like a gayop. Everything else was just PPP and Godwinson seeing an opportunity to strike gold and managing to drag in a significant amount of other ecelebs to this nontroversy, which is why this feels much larger than it has any right to be.


Back before he DFE'd on his old channel Godwinson made one video talking about why he so staunchly opposed monetization and people making money off of their videos. It basically boiled down to him believing that being able to make money off the internet made children not want to pursue actual careers since they would think that they could become ecelebs instead. He emphasized that this was a very serious issue to him because he worked in a school and was irritated by how the kids acted. It seriously impacted my view of him and I don't think I really watched much of his stuff after that since I thought it was an incredibly petty and dumb opinion to have.

The texts in question were sent to (and later leaked by) Jamie Lynn Hughes, one of Dick's exes who divorced her husband and moved from Texas to LA to be in a polyamorous relationship with Dick & 80s Girl. Their relationship was already an open secret before the leaks, but AFAIK the leaks were the first time anyone who was directly involved fessed up to it.
2. The drama really kicked off near the end of March when Cameron Clarke of The Dickheads podcast contacted Jamie Lynn Hughes looking for some hot goss for his podcast. that she wanted to get off her chest, because she went full Boston Tea Party after just a little bit of encouragement. whatever you feel about this, it hasn't been about the fucking text messages since Wednesday, Its about the quite plausible idea that Zoom is heavily involved with NP2 and that the Guntgard are becoming flaggots in order to protect their precious king. PPP was the first guy to show that the emperor has no clothes, and without his ranting we wouldn't have known that Zoom basically made NP2 for Dick and that NP2 might be heavily compromised. I'm not a fan of Toad dropping the variety of content he used to make just to make videos on a fat woman but he's made multiple videos on Mukbangers long before he started getting views on them.
