I think PPP and Godwinson know that the moment they talk to Null the conspiracy theory is over. This is all a big troll, they don't want or need someone to calmly explain to them how NP2 works and how it's not a scam becasue they already know that, they need someone like Dick who starts foaming at the mouth and screaming into the microphone 7 minutes into a call because he can't handle a fat canadian tard.

A small timeline of what I think happened behind the scenes:
1-Godwinson used to like Toad's videos but he's annoyed that he "sold out". Makes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC_rcWNz4zI .
2-Jesse leaks the texts. They're nothing special, I would describe them as mildly embarrassing. Something I'd poke fun at a friend for once or twice and then promptly forget about it.
3-Dick overreacts. He thinks they're a threat to his Macho Man image even though they're not.
4-Gay internet cliques are gay and instead of ignoring it the Guntsquad proceeds to run damage control.
5-Toad doesn't cover it, not because Dick has his dox but probably because he feels they're on "the same team". It's pretty gay and I do think that if it was literally anyone else he would have made a video about it.
6-Godwinson releases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93aOKv6OO_g ,this is the first "Conspiracy" video. It's mainly an attack against Toad but he takes potshots at everyone in Dick's circle. The conspiracy is mostly trolling and a framing device. Godwinson takes things that are undeniably real and uses them to spin a narrative that most probably isn'y true.
7- Godwinson doubles down, releases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aghnI986Dws . Josh is pulled into the whole mess. Saying that people who have the power to control "information" are part of a conspiracy is always very effective. You can see the focus shifting from Toad to a bigger scope troll.
8-Godwinson strikes gold. The gunt and his cronies are idiots and run damage control for something that doesn't even need damage control. They decide to blame CRP for whatever reason. Ralph accidentally drinks hismelf into a coma. Gator is pathetic.
9-PPP vs Dick happens. PPP wins. Zoom is called forth with pagan magics and blood rituals but the summoning circle is incomplete and he turns against his master, doxing him by revealing public information. Wait, what?
10- More damage control. Zoom is now unleashed and Dick is still trying to contain his wrath with the power of frienship. It probably won't work. Gator is still pathetic.

All in all, a great troll helped by the victim's overreaction and mishandling of the situation, and PPP will never talk to Null.

I think it is somewhat relevant, usually guys who go for someone else's wives arent these amazingly smooth dudes, theyre desperate people who go for someone in a position a lot of men will turn her down for for various reasons, Chris-Chan isnt a chad because he decided to find a hooker and most people looking to help people cheat are starved vultures who have to beg and pay. To some people "that embarrassing thing a few people know about" is too big of a blow to bear on their reputation. I think its also fueled by Dick looking at this from the perspective of someone with their real name and face attached to it, being immoral or having done things that would warrant a yawn or a mildly disgusted reaction online can be much worse in real life

Aluminum-foil hat conspiracy time: this was just one big gay op organized by Masterson himself as a means of promoting NewProject2. It's just been years in the making. He bangs someone's wife, waits for her to leak DMs, waits for people to give him shit while simultaneously have people who use NP2 to defend him to foment a conspiracy theory that is holding them hostage with their personal information. Suddently, everyone's talking about him and NP2, and all he had to do was bang someone's wife. Ez money, case closed.
