So, let me see if I'm getting this right, because even with the OP I'm having some trouble following.

Some guy tries to get some other guys in the ISB sphere to make videos or jokes about a conversation he sent out while lying about who was involved in it, looks like an asshole for trying.

Gets invited on to Killstream, where, this time, it's the others that look like assholes since everyone but Jim (who was making at least a token effort to try and understand what the beef was) being a bunch of cringelords.

Everyone ganging up on the first guy leads to a conspiracy theory about all of them having an unspoken rule not to mess with each other due to using a similar patreon alternative.

And as time passes and more calls and videos happen, more shit gets dredged up that makes pretty much everyone involved look exceptional.

Is that about right? If not, please explain this to me, because I'm more confused than a homeless man under house arrest.

Yup, dick was a douche but not really career destroying stuff in dms, being ecelebs Ethan and co of course coddled him and dogpiled admittedly an autist who just wanted to cancel Dick for fun, then PPP and Godwinson decided to use this to spin off conspiracies to troll them because the dogpiling was evocative of the skeptics and donga who are involved in webs as massive as they want Dick and co to appear to be involved in, and then PPP did poorly on stream but got Dick to sperg anyway and with the flagging of his channel more people believe the conspiracy stuff.
