I do find amusement in Gabe's continued attempts to play lawyer with definitions and explain away the things that he has done. This thread would be far less funny if Gabe's only position was "Teehee, so what are you going to do about it." Such people are common in the furry fandom; my personal finding has been that they are typically pedophiles, dogfuckers, and/or sexual and emotional abusers. An overly innocent, overly compassionate person might try to strike up a private conversation with such an indiviudal, and such conversations commonly follow this form:

Conversations with pedophiles, emotionally abusive control freaks, and other such broken people tend to follow a similar form. The common thread I've observed is that such persons have an extreme us-vs-them mentality that drives them to paranoia; anybody who expresses any sign of discomfort or revulsion at their behavior is One Of The Haters and is thus fair game. Reasoning with such people and trying to make them aware enough of their depravity to be ashamed by it (in hopes that this would plant the seed of positive change) is impossible, because they shut down and turn hostile the instant they sense disapproval.

Gabe is different. He came willingly to the Kiwi Farms to try to explain himself, and he has been trying to do this for over a year now, always digging himself a deeper hole in the process. Gabe likes to insist that he's a lawful, ethical, and moral person despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, most of it provided by him himself. When this evidence is shown to him, he tries to explain it away using the usual furry excuses ("crimes have dates"/"that was just locker room talk"/"14 is legal in some countries"/"no, the dog fucked me"/etc) so as to immediately fall back upon the position that he's still a good person after all. He seems to cling quite stubbornly to this notion, enough to proclaim regularly that it is true.

Putting aside the fact that announcing to strangers that you're an upstanding individual is a very strong indicator to the contrary, I'm quite fascinated by what this implies about Gabe. I might get further into this later. For now, his attitude makes me a little bit hopeful that it might eventually dawn on him that he needs to take some steps to repair his life and the lives of the people he has damaged. For now, I'll just provide another observation I've made:

Most of the users who post in Animal Control belong, or belonged, to the furry fandom. These people joined the Kiwi Farms because there are vanishingly few places on the internet where we can publicly discuss and call attention to the rampant degeneracy that furries love to either ignore or actively cover up. These Kiwis post anonymously not because they're not furries, but because particularly degenerate furries are notorious for personally retaliating against people who talk about them and are not above seeking extralegal means to do so.

I don't even intend to have children but I know I can be a better parental figure than Gabe. Then again, not being a fucking babyfur really raises ones' qualifications on parental responsibility significantly; at least I can be trusted to change diapers promptly, rather than Gabe who probably just waits until after he's done jerking off to the idea. I've been randomly friending tons of furries for the past decade through TelegramFurries and TelegramFurs on FA. Before that I used the FurAffinity forum memberlist for skype contacts. I used the skypefurs groups on FurSpace, Furries4Life FurriesXtreme, and FurMe. And I get tons who add me randomly on facebook.

I talk about my life problems with eeeeeeeeeeveryone on my contact list cuz that's normal. People can provide insight. They do the same for me, they'll tell me their problems. That's totally normal. You don't talk about problems unless you want some help solving them.
