LOL I hope they really do go for it and try and "cancel" SGM over this. They're too stupid to realize that it won't happen in a million years, he's got way too much clout compared to these nobodies, and if they did it would be the most spectacular own goal in favor of CG that anyone could ever imagine.
It's great though that SGM is very deliberately giving these SJW worms the finger by going with indiegogo. If his project looks interesting I'll definitely back it.

It's amazing how beaten these people are. Most of them won't even mention EVS or Comicsgate by name because their so terrified of clapback on twitter. When I posted previously about this I assumed Cummings, Hut and JDA were all barking up the wrong bush and was willing to give Peter Simeti the benefit of the doubt. Peter has responded to this in a way that completely makes me believe there might be some legitimacy to Cumming's claims.I was certain that Simeti was SWATed yesterday.
Since watching his response I'm now only "pretty sure" he was actually SWATed.
Both sides of this slap fight are gloriously sperged out exceptional individuals.
First Peter says that he won't release the stream or a clip of the steam in which he claims to be swatted due to it being evidence in an ongoing investigation. This alleged swatting occurred over a year ago and nothing has come of it, no suspect has been found and there have been no updates. Surely releasing a clip of the incident wouldn't compromise the investigation in any capacity at this point.
Secondly Cummings claimed to have checked a facebook Police reporting page which updates the community on all criminal activity including traffic violations. In such a small town an alert would have went out about the incident, yet there are no updates to corroborate Peters claims. In addition Cummings claims to have called at least 4 local police stations which have no record of the incident or refused to comment.
Thirdly Peter Simeti's reaction reminds me of the SJW woman who claimed to have been swatted by the Istandwithvic crowd in the early days of Weeb Wars, which was later proved to be false. He refuses to release any information claiming he'd be "doxing himself" when clearly he could redact his own personal details (address, ph number, etc) and still be able to prove his point. Peter claimed that he would not tell Cummings the police station he contacted for a similar reason, but later used this exact same police station to report Cummings for harassment.
Peter Simeti has taken a "listen and believe" stance on his alleged swatting, something which in principle has failed multiple times in the past. He could easily provide receipts without doxing himself or compromising his case and yet refuses to do so. He now is making himself out to be a victim and implying that Cummings is a stalker and dangerous, merely for questioning his story and quote tweeting him for a day. Implying Cummings and Hut to be dangerous is a bit of an over reaction and stretch to believe. Cummings might be a hothead but his not dangerous to anyone, Hut might be a conspiracy promoting sperg but he seems harmless enough without being a dangerous. Now he has gone and protected his twitter account, which is always a suspicious move of a guilty party usually proceeding a DFE strategy.
TLDR: I thought Cummings and Co were grasping at straws at the beginning of this and there was a very little doubt that Peter was swatted as he claimed. Now after several days of his reactions, I'm not so sure. I went from about 90% believing Peter to about 50/50.

Here is my problem with JDA et al
#1) "Muh Journalism" argument from JDA. Well if you spoke to the police in the area then you would have a specific officer you spoke to. And if this is a "public record" thing they have no defense to hide the cop
JDA says he has a call into the cops for a return call to confirm things. Notice how JDA isn't saying any tangible details BUT he is backing up reporting from Internet Journalists at the time who spoke to actual witnesses?
JDA is cooking up Youtube/Twitter Drama with Cummings to sell his shit. Jon is talented and has good product BUT he sells by trolling and creating controversy.
Jon has Peter's dox he says ((cummings groped for it like a little baby and called like 4 or 5 pds )).
#2) "Muh Body Cam" So Jon claims there would be body cam footage of the incident. But when asked if he confirmed with the cops they actually had body cams on their officers he refused to confirm he did.
This is a comics youtube trashfire. Lets not give either side undue credibility
BOTTOM LINE extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence
Peter has had the Danger Hair crew out for him for a WHILE.
If Peter faked being Swatted (and Peters original Twitter claims dont even make it out to be a true swatting)......not a single one of these violent obsessive weirdos made an effort to expose him in the last year?

All I know is that JDA and Hut annoys the hell out of me with their constant need to act like they're just reporting on things on a neutral stance/on behalf of the people, and then go stir up the hornet's nest and then turn around and say shit like "they attacked me!"
JDA more so on the flipping of victimizing himself. I can't take this guy seriously when one minute he acts like he's professional, then the next acts all sensitive about things, like in the exchange he had with @Mister Dongs to the extent where he just constantly comes off as an internet tough guy full of self-aggrandization. I've got ahold of one of his works recently thanks to a friend, I'm gonna read this and see if this guy deserves to act like he's God's gift to mankind as a writer, or if he's pretty much pulling a Kanye and acting like everyone should be drinking the Kool-Aid.

His panic freakout might just be a moment of seriously not believing how someone can even think it was false, but it does leave it suspicious as to whether or not it happened since it was quite a weird reaction. Pete might just be an overly sensitive guy, who knows. I wouldn't assign guilt to him just because he associates with EVSCG, might just be a lapse of judgement on his part. But then again, I don't know the inner workings of shit that goes down. I do think that the people who are coming at him better have an ace up their sleeves to justify this, or else they're all gonna end up looking so fucking stupid.

Oh I've got time for Hut because he is an exceptional individual and reminds of the old-time Care-In-The-Community folks you used to see screaming at ducks in the park. In a way it's a honour to be allowed access to his deranged stream of consciouness and I'd watch him regardless of the topic.
I really hope he branches out to give us more of his thoughts on the big issues of the day from politics, science and religion.

I too religiously watch The Comicbook Hut, his crack pot theories are just too good to ignore. His guido New Yorker accent is truly unique on Youtube and occasionally I can't help but burst out into laughter with some of his impressions and bants. As far as Anti-CG youtubers go, his by far the most entertaining. I'm almost certain that "The Shadow" his anonymous source is almost definitely a troll who's fucking with him, quite possibly a Kiwi from this very thread. @Mister Dongs I'm looking at you.

The complete lack of evidence is the reason farmers are skeptical.
Five minutes in paint redacting the police report is all that would be required for Simeti to clear this up but he won't because: reasons.
