Not really. There are legitimate concerns about far left terrorists going after funding of people right of Mao. Any "concerns" they have for NP2 are just wild accusations, but documented reality for something like Patreon. Payment processors and Patreon are well known to cave to the lynch mobs incited blue-check mark far left personalities on Twatters. So I would say that this NP2 controversy is at best just an explanation thought up by Kraut discord academics to support their retarded belief, that everybody should find their shit funny or at worst part of a bigger push by the far left to get everyone they do not agree with deplatformed and demonetized. I'd err on the side of caution and treat it as split dick's (pun very much intended) gay op unless proven otherwise.

I don't mean to say that any of the problems with financial deplatforming are unique to NP2, and I'm not trying to make the perfect the enemy of the good, but I do believe that some of the problems with NP2 predated this whole debacle. As PPP and Jim said in the earlier part of their stream, NP2 may not be the only game in town, but options and limitations differ from client to client. If NP2 were to go down for some reason, or Dick became convinced it was too much of a hassle, the implications would be different for someone like Josh than it would be for Toad Mckinley. I'm not talking about any collusion theory or anything here. I'm talking about a broader discussion of mitigating deplatforming online. I think there's a really important conversation to be had here about how to move forward skillfully rather than just haphazardly putting out fires as they spring up.

Of course, I know this isn't really the time or place to discuss this kind of thing, particularly what with everyone sperging out. The thought just occurred to me while I watched Josh answer some of PPP's concern trolling questions in chat earlier.
