I think most governments of the world have time machines. But only the big three powerhouses. (America, China & Russia) Has that type of tech due to being the big three who has their hands on everything. (America with the five eyes that speak English, Russia with their used to be owned countries when they were a powerhouse during communism times, and China if you count them as well owning parts of the Asia market and trying to buy Africa one piece at a time.)

The Mandela Effect might be a real thing but some of us are born in the timeline where we don't have that effect vs some who had it and explain in great detail stuff that happened in media right down to events that happened that we don't see happen. (Like Trump losing to Hillary for office or the infamous Mandela dying in prison moment.) Well, some can be called out as BS. So many people online lately have seemed to remember that stuff happening in unison. Even the missing black tip at the end of Pikachu's tail is missing from folks who watched it as a kid but see people draw fanart of Pikachu with the black tip of the tail colored.

Another theory of how or why the Mandela effect could be a real thing is due to CERN a lab in Switzerland that may have a connection to the Mandela Effect as many folks have a theory that their technology has open portals where they sent people from their worlds to places like our planet and vice visa to not only take them to places where their dead loved ones are alive but also places where things are changed like Dinosaurs still being alive to UFOs taking people away and into versions of our planet that exist but very different to our world.

Also, one more to the bunch. On 2Chan there have been Japanese people who ended up in an Isekai world and post on 2chan and Twitter claiming they have entered that world and having fun. While some people think it's trolling trying to pull one leg up a bunch. I think those users might be on to something and could possibly be that the Japanese Government is using advanced tech to take random people who are into the anime country and games and take them to Isekai like worlds where they see and touch things that are real. (like dragons, magic, and seeing elves.) Like the stuff, they see in anime and manga. But due to most of those worlds not having any internet or anything. They can legally prove these things exist so when they get back to their world (Our world) they don't have any pics of said stuff as either it got deleted or the Japanese government took that stuff away.

With the tech, we got from Alien UFOs. Who's to say we haven't tried to take random people to other dimensions? Japan could be testing something like this out in case something bad happens to their country. So who knows if that is possible? There has been a history of people that supposedly came from other worlds. so you never know folks.

Watched a video on Deus Ex by a YouTuber called Ross (of Accursed Farms, Freeman's Mind fame) and the basic idea is that the US government was already arresting Al Qaeda members, who were planning an "unprecedented attack on the US" as early as spring of 2001.

Then, military defence contractors stepped in and spoke with Bush, who claimed they made their own assessment of the threat and deemed it largely gone by now. The FBI is put on hold for the investigation, months go by and then 9/11 happens. Those same contractors return and sign 100 billion dollar contracts with the government for counter terrorism efforts, and make mad bank off the whole disaster.

Honestly, i wouldn't be surprised if the military industrial complex saw a potential opportunity and decided to stall the FBI into total inaction, and make huge profits off a tragedy like that.

Hmmm. Not so sure about academics and the media getting noisy about "accepting" kiddie fiddlers outside of fringe Tumblrinas and similar. But there is something fantastically creepy about the idea of "trans kids" and similar. And people on social media decrying criticism of things like DDLG and other creepy shit as being "kink shaming." Wouldn't surprise me if by 2030 we started seeing a few more mainstream elements giving airtime to "inter-generational relationships" or some other mealy-mouthed way of putting it.
