Is Gear Tacitcs as grindy as a couple of reviewers are saying? I heard a bit of complaints about artificially extending the campaign with requiring a bunch of side missions before getting to the story missions.

not sure where the hell this goes, but here you go: some valorant vanguard rootkit salt

Is We Happy Few worth checking out? It's on sale and while I'm interested in the premise I've heard conflicting reports since it came out.

Idk where to put this but I just beat the Path of Pain in Hollow Knight and I'm literally dead inside but I did it. I sat down and I did it. It took five hours.

So I'm just kind of watching Civvie 11 eviscerate games Randy Bitchford was involved with and something I still can't really figure out is what the fuck happened with Gearbox between HL: OpFor and Blue Shift and... well, everything else they've made. HL: OpFor was really, really good. Blue Shift was short, but still decent. And then everything else is just really fucking meh at best (unless you're in the camp that insists Borderlands 1 was really good, which I disagree with). What the fuck happened, or rather why did OpFor and Blue Shift not suck nuts?

What the fuck is this weird shit. I thought it was some Alien game with all the penis iconography.

Thats been in development for a long ass time. At least like 6 years now I think. Though it's only like 10 guys making it, there was a playable demo about 3 years back for kickstarter backers. It's heavily inspired by the artist who designed the Xenomorph as well as Beksinski so it's easy to see why it would seem like an Alien game.

It's rough around the edges, but once you get to grips with that it has a great world, atmosphere and story. Gameplay itself isn't anything too special, but not bad either. One of my personal favorite games of this generation.

I'm chilling with Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the PS2 (emulator). It's a fun game with good presentation and music.

For under $10, from what I hear.

Thanks to both of you, it's only 14.99 so I might as well give it a shot. @Sexyphobe, is the DLC worth getting?

Do you still remember the moment where as a child you made an uninformed bad game purchase, probably with your parents' money, and discovered for the first time that a game can be bad? For me that happened with Spyro: enter the dragonfly.

Blockbuster rental really helped with this back in the late 80's/90's cause god damn did alot of NES games end up sucking. But man did the Top Gun game suck extra hard.

Section Z, first game I bought with my own money. Rentals didn't exist at the time. Odd thing, when renting games became an option it was pretty shady. In my area they were available at an A/V store where they gave you the cardboard box and everything. It was just one of their retail games they had set aside for rental in the same way people could rent an amplifier and speakers for a wedding. No licensing, no nothing.

For a good sale, definitely. Each one is pretty unique with both the story and gameplay. And as @Titos said, it's on Gamepass if you have an Xbox.

Although I'd reccomend playing the base game first to see if you enjoy the atmosphere and gameplay, and if you do then get the DLC.

I remember those days fondly, and playing Top Gun realizing how much it sucked after 2 minutes.

It's on Gamepass on PC too, I just checked. Even if I don't love the game I'll give the devs cred and keep an eye on them for putting out a documentary about how they kinda fucked up with the development of the game and being honest instead of the normal spiel.
