I just want to say, Code Vein is fucking amazing. I picked it up with a bunch of other games in the current PlayStation sale and I'm having a blast. Picked up Elite: Dangerous as well but haven't played it yet because holy shit it looks complicated to learn.

If someone hasn't played the Deus Ex games yet, the whole series is available with a massive discount at GOG now! Compared to the first one (I'm playing it right now), how are the others?

Invisible War is OK but somewhat disappointing compared to the first. Haven't played the newer ones with Adam Jensen.

Invisible War is irredeemable garbage! Human Revolution was cool though, it's like the first game combined with the density of Invisible War's locations(without them being tiny zones separated by load screens).

Invisible War is the black sheep of the series for a reason, but it's still a good game with, in my opinion, a pretty good story. It's too streamlined for its own good (though the plot/setting actually explains a lot of that), and the terrible engine results in way to much loading between small sections. Still, worth playing. I'm one of its defenders.

Human Revolution is the only time I've seen a series change hands completely and for the new guys to 100% pull it off. It's fucking great. I still need to finish it though. (I got it ages ago, then rebought and restarted it for the Director's Cut stuff.)

Never played Mankind Divided, but I'm looking forward to it.

You can safely ignore The Fall unless you're a mega-fan who has a morbid curiosity with janky, obscure, technically canon side stories. It was made as a somewhat impressive mobile game ported to Steam. It's not very good.

Deus Ex Go is a fun, well-made entry in the Go series, for what that's worth.

So I never got around to playing XCOM 2 because it had a bunch of issues at launch and according to people a lot of the missions forced you to rush shit. Did they ever fix that?

People are over estimating the whole "rush" thing with the objectives because they want to play boring as hell overwatch trap creep. You will have more then enough time to complete the object (along with getting perks that don't start the timer until the squad is reveled, a specialist only need line of sight to hack a objective, etc) but if that is not enough there is a Second Wave option to double all the timers in the game.

I can't decide which Paper Mario game of the first two was better: 64 of Thousand Year Door. Also, I made a tier maker of the partners

So a shitload of stuff literally hacked from nintendo is being dumped. Supposedly its a total of 2tb but only a few gigs worth of SDKs and demos are out. The Last of Us 2 isn't even going to win leak of the year.

Where are people talking about this? This is the first I've heard of it.

Is there a game about a husband and wife team or at least a preexisting stable relationship, with both characters competent and ideally playable?

There are some mods in the Steam workshop that remove the timers and other little things like that. Greatly increased my enjoyment of the game.

Gears Tactics is good fun. It's basically Firaxis XCom for meathead players who don't want to do any nerdshit outside of combat missions. After years of Microsoft paying lipservice and saying they'd start making PC Games again they finally did one thing right. It makes me optimistic that InXile Games and Obsidian will be able to produce some interesting games under the Microsoft label.
