I'll bet Ron went to take on that Come Geek dude because that's about the level of man he's comfortable confronting. Yeah, he'll DM Nick when he's desperate for that dopamine hit that social media interaction gives him, and also because while Nick may peck your eyes out with that giant honker of his in a fight, he doesn't exude a tough guy vibe. As such, Ron isn't too scared to say some shit to him.
Don't forget the one affidavit even the defendants forgot to include in appeals, where the nobody that was going to send papers to everyone for calling him out on committing perjury, and his entire affidavit was just "I saw, I heard" like all of them are except like the two or three that Vic denied happened entirely or that the person in the affidavit is lying about the events that happened.

They are absolutely bitter that some bumpkin lawyer from Minnesota had the nerve to help a man when he was potentially on the verge of suicide, when he realized the same people he worked with for many years were never his friends.
