In my view, both can be true, but the latter more than the former. It’s more of a sentiment than a hot take, and lefttube is still quite young. I tend too exclude certain creators from the equation though, such as Lindsay Ellis. A lot of people can agree that this new video was a lowpoint for contra, and really displays her many, many, many flaws and logical fallacies. And the way she talked about christorians like Geno is what I believe the kids call a “dick move”.
An optimistic me would think this would make people question Contra, but chances are lefttube will continue in their dick-sucking trance.
Contrapoints covers more philosophical topics that most people are less knowledgeable of, and therefore can get away with logical fallacy, misinformation, and other flaws. But "cringe" is a subject many people, especially the average internet goer, are very knowledgeable of. And because of this, these many issues become glaringly obvious.
