VIZ: The Official Website for Not Your Idol
A psychological suspense series about a girl who has given up her life as an idol after being assaulted by a fan.www.viz.com
It's a real property, yes. And it does appear they're rewriting it to change the connotations. The original title was even translated to English by the Japanese author -- "Goodbye my Miniskirt." I don't know how woke it was in the original Japanese. What's this about canceled halfway through? Did it get the axe? Not surprising.
Here's the fan translation. Only got the first chapter before the teams lost interest:

Sayonara Miniskirt Chapter 1
Foreword I’m only a one-man team so I apologize in advance if there are mistakes here and there and some inaccuracies in my translation. Have fun reading! —–end̵…morishisan.wordpress.com
Reading it, it's about some Japanese Idol who is attacked by a psycho fan. In response, she gets PTSD and drops out of the industry, and starts downplaying her femininity. Slacks instead of a skirt, short hair, etc. A pervert shows up in the area and they warn everyone, which leads to her starting to freak out. Combination of not wanting to be weak (refusing to go home in groups) while terrified of being attacked again. She hallucinates one of her male classmates as being the guy that attacked her but he's literally just jogging for PE class. He notices her huge scar on her arm from the attack and likely knows who she is?
Chapter ends with her assaulting one of her classmates that was taking a strawman "if you girls don't wanna get fondled don't wear short skirts" stance, because this is indeed a woke manga and all men are evil.
Raws are over here. I don't think I'm gonna buy $10 worth of moonrune manga I can't read to see how it goes.

Has a wiki over here:
Edit: I have NOT seen an anime for this one. It only got 2 volumes, so I suspect it's just a flash in the pan.
Isn’t this what the woke brigade wanted? A manga that was already woke because they changed the way how things are done in Japan? The end pages in question for those who won't click the link:
If it's truly woke in the original, that's a fucking shame because the idea of an ex-idol forsaking skirts and trying to be more masculine because of her trauma sounds intriguing. But I think there's a better way to go about this, and it might've already been done (or I might just be thinking of Perfect Blue), or not done as well as one would hope. But it's probably telling when only the one chapter appears to be available anywhere else that I can find, so I dunno how the story continues.
Meanwhile, in the comments of Mangakakalot where I read this:
