TRO's video doesn't even hold a fucking candle to Kappa Kaiju and Thafnine's video in terms of the level of criticism doled out. TRO was more "Here's Alex, here's the shitty things he's done and as a result people are upset" while Kappa and Thaf9 absolutely destroy Alex and expose him for the scammer he is (though tbh I liked Rommel's video better). But since all three of them didn't kiss his ass they are all gremlins in his mind who enjoy publicly shaming him.

I'll take a better look at it later, for now I only made a quick glance at Osana-related scripts and it seems like it's like 60% finished at best, since half of them are just place holders.
And this is recent. Somewhere between end of April and may. So all "Osana is nearly finished, I'm polishing the game" stuff is bullshit.
Though he might be keeping some of Rival-related code to himself.
I still wish the code was re-written for C#. It's pain to look at.

Much as Alex is the poster child for incompetence, I'm not sure how much I'm willing to listen to a poster who acts like goddamn Notepad++ is some sort of secret mysterious program.

Putting aside about Alex should've used inheritance for student behaviors, or how it's funny how his mom was yelling at him to shower aside, one thing that really gets me is the third paragraph which states how Alex is more of a visual learner hence why he doesn't want to read code. I really don't think you need visual learning to see how code has changed in order to see differences. The only things you would need would be just asking for what lines of code are changed and then see the comments explaining why.

And this is just fucking lol. If this is the attitude Alex would take I can't imagine what would it be like if he actually hired professional programmers to work on the game during Kickstarter phase.

Just a note; it says in the README that this is just disassembled code from dnSpy (a .NET disassembly tool) from 2020/03/20. Anyone can produce this from any distributed build of the game, and it won't contain comments (they're not built into assemblies) or may have some weird constructs (how the disassembler converts IL back to source code).

In all likelyhood the actual source may be a little better (some constructs don't translate very well to and from IL), but far more likely it's significantly worse (since disassembly will nicely format the code and apply consistent output).

If homeboy is using secret hacker program Notepad-cross-cross to edit code because he can't be bothered to wait for unity to spin up I'm betting it's full of formatting issues.

If we remove person the developer it would be a random edgy weeb game I would just ignore. If it's well enough done and the script is bad enough I could even think it was some random Japanese game that got translated by fans.

That's not even a leak, that's just the same sort of decomp we've been doing on a whim at random whenever we want to laugh at the code. A true leak would have .unity and .prefab files in it, they'd be the interesting bits of the internal glue we hadn't seen yet and would confirm a lot of suspicions upthread about possible major missteps in structure. You used to be able to rip them directly (although they required a lot of postprocessing) but I think 2019 reworked a bunch of stuff internally given how the workflow for builds had changed.
