Pool: when we’ll have to call YD as Alexandra?
edit: damn, he streams again. I forgot how often he streams

Thafnine caught wind of Alex's e-mail interview.
The copypasta for question 6 and 7 is a bit of a running joke in the comments.

https://twitter.com/thafnine/status/1261314561233293313?s=21
Even though it's clear that Alex didn't even watch the video (TRO's video was actually a lot more sympathetic compared with the other expose videos and if this video is "humiliating" him, that says a lot about Alex's ego), like I said I really can't blame him especially I really don't think he needs to waste his time watching what appears to be another expose drama video if he can just spend the same time on coding/improving the game, but even then this is the same guy who once whined about him getting trashed on in some chat in some Virtual YouTuber video so I don't really get him. Even then, he actually e-mailed TRO (and we don't know any of the contents) so Alex's comments for it are just dumb. Just say "I don't even watch typical drama videos" or some shit.

Someone e-mailed Alex too, yeah he clearly didn't watch the video but even the dismissal is just dumb:

A new bug build was released. Nothing interesting, but Alex did say that once he started working on improving the graphics, he would stop releasing updates until Osana is out. He also said that this might happen after June 1st. Will this mean we enter the Osana saga of this cow? Probably not, but it's interesting nonetheless.
There were sayings that Osana is gonna be released either this month or next month, and changing the graphics should hopefully not take too much time, it should line up well for Alex to release Osana next month (unless he's extremely stupid enough to delay it despite his popularity going way lower and Patreon money running out)

I expect Osana release is gonna be expectedly very buggy especially for a pre-alpha build which is fine, but I'm more curious about the upcoming crowdfunding campaign which I'm not wrong, would be held when the demo is released which would include Osana and far less bugs.

>32-bit executables have "a bunch of crash bugs"
A 32-bit program/CPU/OS is limited to an address space of 2^32 bytes, which is exactly 4 GiB. In other words, a 32-bit program is incapable of using more than 4 GiB of memory at any one time. I'm convinced that the "crash bugs" are caused by Alex's shitcode exhausting the 32-bit address space.
Since that 32bit 4 GB limit (I think it's effectively around 3.5 GB since other stuff gets stored in RAM too) applies to the operating system/computer itself, that's actually rather likely. On my computer YanSim peaks out around 2.2-2.4 GB of memory usage at full quality, 1080p, so on a 32bit machine YanSim would essentially demand over half of your available memory. If you happened to be running anything else at the time you try to play YanSim, you may be in for some interesting times.

Fun random hardware usage comparison: Warframe uses 2/3rds the memory YanSim requires and easily triples the average framerate with less CPU usage. Probably less GPU usage too, but wasn't running the overlay to check. It's also much more fun, but we already knew that.

Edit: Hell, even on lowest settings and resolution YanSim is going to demand 2.2GB at minimum, and the framerate will be just as subpar as it is on higher settings. I'd say Alex shouldn't bother with any kind of 32bit build/support since as far as I know 32bit machines haven't been made since 2017, except with his audience skewing young many may be playing on their parents older not-meant-for-gaming machines so he may not have much of a choice in the matter.

Edit2: This is a thing from the discord.

Let’s take another look at the list of stuff Eva wanted to have finished before the Kickstarter. Keep in mind that this list was made in the spring of 2017.
B4921151-F214-439A-B6FE-0199185D6A53.png

- Osana implemented: :story:
- Possible to eliminate a rival by causing Senpai to hate her: see above
- Possible to eliminate a rival using a method that only applies to that specific rival: see above
- NPCs react properly to everything: yes
- NPCs perform a wide range of school activities: sorta. Only specific club members utilize these facilities
- All school locations are implemented: they look like shit, but yes
- All situations that require music have an appropriate background track: I can’t be assed to find out
- Every action in the game has an accompanying sound effect: nope
- The “drive to suicide” elimination method has a cutscene: nope
- Students react to footsteps: yes
- Part of the day is designated as “cleaning time”: yes
- All placeholder models and songs are removed: Lol, fuck no
- It is possible to interact with faculty members: nope
- Proper intro cutscene for story mode: Yes, with placeholder models
- All school student buffs are functional: nope
- Larger student population at school: Say goodbye to your framerate
- Functional guidance counselor: yes
- Functional school nurse: nope
- Save/Load system: yes
- SNAP Mode: yes

All in all, nearly half these features have yet to be implemented. Who wants to bet Alex will quit working on the game before the Kickstarter even goes up?

I was going to actually give him a pass on this one, since technically he is correct, but when he decides to throw one last sentance to bitch about people "Choosing fun narative", insted of giving people who don't know how dource code works benefit of the doubt.
He ether lacks any kind of self-awarness and thinks that he got targeted randomly, or he tries to manipulate people into beliving that he wasn't targeted because of his massive flaws.

Excuse me but what the fuck?
This floor and female avatar and pink walls...
Is there something you want to tell us, Alex?

Yeah, I don't even know what stops Alex from becoming a streamer.

I think, it's even funnier. He is trying to convince himself, that he did nothing wrong and some evil people are just fucking with him.

Edit2: This is a thing from the discord.

We already concluded the code isn't even a leak (And even then the word "leak" appears only twice in the 4chan thread, even the original poster said it was "source code" too), but since some did have misinformation about it and treat them as "leaks", I'm gonna give a pass for the first five paragraphs.

The sixth paragraph about how the "current state of the game's code doesn't represent what the final code will look like"? Please, I've been seeing this excuse a lot of times and even you yourself admitted "you don't specialise in most of the stuff Yandere Simulator needs the most" (hence why you wanted to hire professional programmers for the crowdfunding campaign). Just say the code that was "leaked" was a month old and even then explain you have already done optimizations on the notorious code in the "leak" anyway.

I don't even remember anyone trying to push the narrative in the 7th and 8th paragraphs Alex is sperging about however. Anyone who has followed the drama already knew that Yandere Simulator's code had been in the public for months or even years, so him acting like this shit and exaggerating about it is ridiculous. Worst thing I see from the situation is just some YouTube video ranting about the code.

If there's one more positive thing I can say about him, at least he addressed the situation especially about the code "leak" (He didn't address the rumors thrown around in the 4chan thread about him and the programmer but meh) rather than going silent. We'll see what will be the optimized code compared with the "leaked" one we had then.

How, after 6 years, can the code not be reflective of the final product?

Like, I'd understand if he said that certain features haven't been fully implemented and exist in a state that is functional for this stage of development. But if the whole code is not reflective of the final product at this point then he may as well start from scratch.

Why is he pushing out features he intends to completely rebuild later? This is just complete bullshit, either the code is reflective of the finished product and it's bad, or the code isn't reflective of the finished product which means we've basically not even started development proper yet.

Also, Alex says he doesn't care about the decompiled source code being out there but he DMCAd it originally.

Oh yeah lol at his autistic fucking room in animal crossing, I bet the chicks at PrettyUglyLittleLiars are ripping him a new asshole over it.

And I just fucking feel that he added it by something like this in a script that is responsible for sitting on bench
C#:
if (sisterDialogeMonday)
{
    interactebleBench15.SetActive(false);
}
else if (sisterDialogeTuesday)
{
    interactebleBench15.SetActive(false);
}
...
else if (sisterDialogeFriday)
{
    interactebleBench15.SetActive(false);
}
else
{
    interactebleBench15.SetActive(!false);
}
wow, so dialoge, very misspelt

I think one of the most telling things that Alex doesn't care about this game at all is he won't try rewriting the project. To me it doesn't seem like he really has that much stuff in the game already. He could even just copy over the stuff that was actually made correctly. Maybe it's just cause I'm autismo but when I notice the frame rates on my projects are going down and the code is messy I'll do my best to rewrite what I have. Obv not everyone has the time or patience to do that but it's not like time is really a concern for him.

Even just converting some of his student script to smaller ones and just having them run when necessary would save him so much headaches and help him fix so many bugs. Use state machines kids
