I get why this person MIGHT be a lolcow, but really needs much more info.
They were a prominent streamer for Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's MOBA. Only played female characters, but most importantly they RAILED against Blizzard building in-game voice chat to improve teamplay in random matchmaking ranked games(or any games really). FerociouslySteph obviously opposed this because they don't sound female at all, and was expecting to get harassed in voice chat(despite being a well known streamer, so whatever) and thus vowed to NOT use voice chat, which was going to give "her" an unfair disadvantage in games because presumably other ranked players would report or ditch them for not using every common advantage to improve the game and team synergy. This person got several video game outlets like Polygon and Kotaku to write supportive articles about how hard Steph has it and how Blizzard totally shouldn't just throw in voice chat without better support for trans people. Meanwhile Blizzard launched the feature and it was fine, no trannies got killed in the process. It was a very disproportionate media response to a very niche game and subject.

Now that they're in the news for being hired onto this new Twitch diversity council, I'm surprised more people aren't bringing this old sad dick-waggling of their non-existent power from 2018 out to embarrass them further. Especially since it's voice chat related again.

Anything deer related is probably in homage to Lunara, the named, relevant dryad from the Warcraft universe:1589621767554.png

great clip, this will age well:
"No, I just, I'm just not cool with white supremacy, y'all. It's really not that, I think a lot of you gamers are actually white supremacists, sorry, just a fact. Of... how I feel, which isn't a big-"

Just the clip of it pretending to be a deer had my sides in orbit.
Anyone who's ambitious with video editing; Since deerman is in a twitter or stream spat with Destiny, put the deer video side by side with Destiny doing his headbob thing. Until then, just open both at the same time and laugh:

Why should I give a shit about this troon?
Because this troon is gonna be the center of a lot of hilarious yet sad shenanigans over at Twitch that will end with many people banned for WrongThink.

I used to play HotS right before Blizzard put it down and I don't think I had ever heard of this dude. The top streamers were the pros and people like Mewnfare and BamBam who could get 1000+ viewers easily. The only people worth watching were the master/grandmaster players, and they got anywhere from 100-1000, with only a handful getting anywhere close to 1000. I doubt Steph ever broke 100 viewers.

This game has been dead since 2017.
The game was basically dead on arrival, had no real competitive scene and was pretty much forgotten by everyone after it launched, that spike in 2017 was because blizzard was so desperate to get people to play they gave people a skin or something for overwatch.
Here is a very good rundown on why the game failed but its no surprise someone who played a babymode assfaggots would be so against things you would find normal in every other game.
