Greg will come back to YouTube, of course. A friend of mine is an actual successful youtuber, with videos that get several million views. He's moved over to twitch at the moment because theres no ad revenue to be made on YouTube. Advertisers arent booking ads right now so theres no point making videos now for no money, when in a few months time (pandemic permitting) things might change. Greg tried streaming games briefly a few months back, but was too shit at it, unsurprisingly.
Greg's porn career is a bit time limited, he has up until he has to get it out, and everyone dies laughing.

No, Greg will never be a pOrN sUpErStAr. Greg is making between $700-$900 a month on OF. That's poverty level income. That's why he's constantly shilling "55% OFF FOR NEXT 10 SPOTS!!!!," he's trying to grow his audience. And because he posts that every day, multiple times a day, I imagine growth is slow. Beyond that, Greg is known to artificially inflate his numbers with bots and the like. His fragile ego can't take anyone seeing what his actual numbers are.

So he frames it to appear as if it's HIS choice to abadndon it. And it's so transparent! I can't fathom how anyone could be so deluded to not recognize that their true motives are entirely clear, and not feel extreme embarrassment by it.

The truth is that Greg has been failing at YouTube, on all his channels, for many years. He's been full of excuses, and full of people/circumstances to blame. Despite this, he continued to upload the same tired, garbage content, switching between channels to try and "win" at the algorithm. But because he's a disliked predator who never switched up his content and genuinely has nothing likeable or interesting associated with his personality, he continued to fail.

When he stumbled into a very brief period of a spike in his viewership (and I mean very brief, as in a period of a couple weeks,) he probably felt like success was within reach again. Because as a narcassit, Greg genuinely believed he had intentionally achieved those numbers. He believed he had duped everyone into thinking he had "lost it," was unhinged, a mad Joker-esque gEniUs, a puppet-master. I mean, y'all heard him talk about it. The truth is that people only watched because he was in a period of "relevancy" as the focus of Hansen and other content creators who were bringing to light all of his predatory ways. People weren't fooled. They weren't under the impression that he was cRaZy. No one thought that. People watched because he was making a fool of himself, humiliating himself, had stooped to flapping his moobs around and screaming like a tard.
Greg's delusions of grandeur and low IQ compelled him to believe he was in control of that entire situation. To BE that delusional, can you imagine? He was probably sure he could keep his views up after that, so when they tanked back down to under 10k, his ego couldn't take it.

So now he has delusions of grandeur about how he's going to be this big porn star. There isn't even a remote chance of this happening. There may be a small niche subscriber base comprised of the tiny amount of fans he has left, but he certainly isn't going to pull new people in.

I predict the number of subscribers to his OF will stay around what it is now. His fans are already aware of its existence, and if they want to be subscribed, they are already. There's nowhere to grow his account. There's no market for "bizarrely proportioned, chubby, mid 30s has-been solo performer with tiny penis, acne, and morgue-like photos that don't include face, poor lighting, potato quality images." There's not even an incentive for people to sign-up who only want to laugh because everything is already being leaked anyway. I believe he will toy with this for a little while, and when he doesn't find success, he'll focus his attention back to YouTube and pretend this was all a joke because his fragile ego.

OT, but I just came on to make this same Elliot Rodger comparison. This is some Twilight Zone preemptive ninja'ing. LOL! I otherwise completely agree with your point, except for the 'maybe' part. I fully see this whole thing as a grooming ploy. If it were any other personality w/a teen demographic, I'd just consider the OF stuff in bad taste or inappropriate to shill. Because it's Greg, you know he's got motives.
