I wasn't planning on posting so soon but I woke up this morning to see my inbox feed flooded with really shitty AMVs to Digi's new album. I believe this is the catalyst to things really going to shit for Digi. For one this album is bad, like really bad i can not emphasis this enough. The videos are getting downvoted to hell (rightfully so) and i challenge anyone to make it through the two tracks i link below. The combination of mass uploading like 10 videos and having them all be down voted just rocketed himself out of the youtube algorithim and most likely just killed his channel even further. I don't think his channel can recover from here and this combined with the Patreon ship sinking is a wombo combo.
This one is atrocious because of the out of key bad singing
This one he doesn't even bother putting the auto tune in the right key. Then when i skim the comments he's talking about how he put the auto tune out of key on purpose.
The main issue here is the lack of self-awareness. When i make art i send it to a couple people to get feedback and revise .Digi believes he can do no wrong when it comes to art and just shits it out to the public. This is then reinforced by his wife/fiance who also lacks self-awareness and contributes to his poor decision making .Wow big brain take symbolism there bud, i made it shitty on purpose to make a point!
Just some objective criticism of his music:
1. Poorly Mixed (vocals too loud/too quiet)
2. He doesn't punch in his vocals. An example of this is singers usually record individual lines for a song. Digi clearly just records all his rap verses in one take. You can hear him running out of breath, wheezing, and falling off tempo.
3. His production is really bad and he just uses free beats off of youtube (lel).
4. Can't Sing.
It's sad because at one point he did make a really good album called Gay and Dead. This was a few years back and he clearly made an extremely high effort to make it good ( I have high standards for music). Digi worked with a producer and even had tons of features. Since then any music he has put out he clearly just recorded in a manic high one afternoon/night in one take. Also the fact that all of these tracks on the new album have really shitty AMVs just shows that he is wasting critical time/poor decision making to focus on shitty projects during a steep decline in $$$.
I want to at another point dive deeper into his fiance May because she's so close to being a lolcow in her own regards (the sad fact is shes just really cringey and lacks self awareness ). At this point i think May is playing an amplifying effect to the Ego Spiral that we are seeing with Digi.

It might be because I have horrible taste in music but these songs don't sound too bad. Conceptually at least. You can sort of see an ioda of a good idea. The songs have potential to be good. The problems are, at least to me, the mixing is god awful. Digi can't sing the notes so he whales and badly autotunes it. In the first song you linked the trap backing track clashes heavily with the style he's going for (also the lyrics start way, WAY, too late which ruins the flow).
There are a lot more but these few observations show that he is still making beginner mistakes, which he shouldn't be given his at minimun 5 years of music production.

May grew up in the greater Rochester, NY area. Her family consists of two divorced parents and two other siblings. She went to school in Oklahoma for Public Relations and essentially flunked out of school. The way she describes her experience is the typical sheltered child who goes to college discovers alcohol/freedom and burns out in a ball of glory in less than a year. The highlight of college for May was joining a sorority where she would learn to hate normies. Since May and Digi chose the peak of shit college experiences (Digi went to community college with his mom for a year) they now project that people don't need college/the public education system. After failing school she moved back home and started watching Mothers Basement (Cow Cross Over) where she discovered Digi on a Podcast they were both on. From there on May became an obsessed groupie. May initially tried reaching out to Digi by drawing really shitty drawings of her fucking him as a pillow?
May talks about how she tried sending this drawing to Digi but he didn't see it. After failing at sending him deviant art tier drawings, she messaged Mumkey Jones (Cow Cross Over) on snapchat for Digi to message her. Digi and May began sending nudes back and forth. After a month or two Digi flew up to Rochester and got them a hotel room where they decided to take things further. Digi then immediately moved in with her in Rochester and they got their own place (May was living on her Dad's couch at the time). May and Digi lived in Rochester for roughly a year during which May was working at Target as a manager and going to community college. Digi convinced May to quit school and her job to work for him and they moved to Boston. From this point forward May hasn't had a job and this was roughly ~ 2 to 3 years ago. The highlight from the Boston period is May and Digi get super into drugs which ended with May having a mental breakdown and getting thrown in a mental asylum after sitting in the street claiming she was a magical girl. Digi pretty much bankrupts himself paying for May, renting a house, and the move to Boston. Since then the the two have moved back to Virginia beach in a house together and she occasionally edits videos for him. I guess the main issue i see in May is she larps as an autsitc edgelord but in reality is just lazy, insecure, and awkward. Both Digi and May are the same person creating a negative feedback loop of bad content/ideas.

Deep down Digi and May both wish they were MB and his gf. There's clearly a level of resentment from Digi that MB is way more successful and embraced by the industry. Digi constantly brings up how he was the one who taught MB about youtube thumbnails and SEO optimization. Geoff upon learning this hired an SEO specialist and therefore in Digi's mind he sold out/is the reason why Geoff is successful to a partial extent.
May is insecure that Tenleid is the A-List Animetubers successful arm candy gf who gets them coomer bucks . There was a period in which I noticed May was posting way more cosplays in a clear attempt to for thirst likes while bitching about Tenleid (They just came off as desperate and sad). During a podcast May also briefly mentioned trying to have a podcast with Tenleid and getting ghosted. Most of this is outlined in Digi/May's lets plays.
Damn Digi, It's as if you should hire an SEO specialist and not nuke your own channel with shitty AMVS.

Digi shit out yet another half baked experimental album after flooding his youtube with AMVs (better production than the last one but still not good). Digi's Fiance May has been attempting to make a video everyday in May and it's all half assed shit out content. Most of her videos for this month are just live streams of her discord or fast food reviews.

I find it funny Digi's previous girlfriend found him through the podcast, The PupCrawl and May found him through a podcast.
If I remember right Digi was the one who gave up after a week but May kept practicing and drawing which is why May has confidence in her art saying she learned a lot from that challenge and experience afterward. This also led Digi to take genuine pride in her art because of how far she came so he tries to use it in any way possible.
This I just find tacky everytime I witness it, whether its a sneak diss or a direct callout either on Youtube, or Twitter, its just blatant they wish they could reach those levels. Digi has been butthurt for years at this point Geoff always was able to get more consistent views and his channel blew up on top of the fact Geoff knew how to keep business relations like his relationships with Crunchyroll and Funimation. By extension from Digi's jealousy and May worshipping Digi's "genius" and "art" by extension she has an issue with Tenleid for her success as an e-thot.

Digi is lazy and these are individuals who made the first move. You don't hear ever hear any stories about Digi attempting to date online or making a general effort to break onto the dating scene. I would say for a well adjusted adult it's fairly uncommon to marry your second gf lol.
I don't remember his first gf too much other than Digi claims she was a retarded brony who was in the military and lived at home with her mom. Any money she got she immediately spent on anime plushies and they didn't date for very long.

The only thing remotely close to dating online I can think of for Digi was him attempting to enter a relationship when he was a pre-teen or teenager with someone online who he thought was a guy which wasn't something he thought of much at the time and kinda just ghosted the guy.
Only reason I remember his first gf is Digi telling his story of how he lost his virginity to her and she was turned on by him saying "ludonarrative dissonance" because she was turned on by his voice and vocabulary he claims.

Digi just has this habit of setting up big goals yet failing at all them due to incompetents or arrogance.May is unemployed and doesn't work. She goes to an online community college for public relations or poli sci? Idk something that's not relevant or worth spending time on. May worked at Target briefly then quit about like three years ago and just hasn't worked since. Her goal is to become a stay at home house wife (lel) which is hilarious considering neither of them have health insurance and Digi's Patreon is nosediving.
I follow Digi daily and was a huge fan because of his early output. I'm now mainly fascinated with his downfall because of his poor decision making and lack of foresight. Part of the reason i made a KF account is to keep this thread updated.
Just some examples of lack of foresight:
Something interesting he keeps talking about right now is a shift in career away from youtuber which is lolsy considering it's a global pandemic. Now is not the time to mix things up buddy. His Patreon has hit it's lowest point outside of when he first started. I don't think his relationship with May will last once he can't maintain their standard of living and i'm waiting for him to panic once we see another huge dip in $$$ next month.
