I have a theory that anime was actually an insidious weapon unleashed into the west by the Japanese. Those clever fuckers. They knew a generation of inbred, socially retarded autists wouldn't be able to handle it rendering them utterly useless.

This seems to be pretty damn organic, 10 years ago we just didn't saw such shit happening to our youth. Yeah, they had cringy screamo skrillex phases once but, I prefer this over people pretending to be what they aren't just because it made them feel happy once.
Still, I fear for what's going to happen in the 2020s and beyond.

There's been an alarming number of troons showing up on tinder/bumble in my area tonight. Could just be the long weekend but none of the mtf's come anywhere close to passing. There isn't even any effort made, they're just full on dudes. Like come on at least the one ftm I encountered took me a second to clock, it's not that hard to put actual effort in.

What I heard from a conspiracy-minded friend (so take it with a generous pinch of salt) who lurks around SJW and troon circles, is that they seem to have deemed the general visibility of transwoman to be "good enough" for the moment, and are trying to make transmen more visible and so pushing them to make more noise in advance of pride month. Since gays are the easiest target, that's what they're going for.

Personally, I think that's hooey. That community couldn't organize its way out of a paperbag, particularly with how FTM and MTF go at each other's throats if given half a chance. But that's the only theory I heard so far, because I've noticed it too.
