Yeah it's not like Starcraft, Half-Life, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, Baldur's Gate, Tekken 3, Thief or Banjo-Kazooie ended up being genre defining games that set the benchmark for future developers.

I didnt say they weren't. I said that even the non shitty games were shitty. They were all great games, but they dont hold up by today's standards. Just look at Yooka Laylee, which mimicked what made Banjo and Kazooie great and yet it ended up forgettable.

And in more Arin-centric news, The Grumps channel is doing a podcast...again. For like the third time.
Again, it's not a podcast on the main Game Grumps channel run by the Grumps; that would their previous attempt at a podcast specifically for gaming-related/non-gaming related stuff called The G Club, this is the Grumps doing a podcast on their The Grumps channel. But it's also technically a part of their 10 Minute Power Hour branding, even though it's in a completely different format than the other 10 Minute Power Hour episodes due to the quarantine.
Once again their branding is a mess.

Man posts an archived history of the editor for GG being a possible pedo , has information most likely linking said possible pedo to look at the farms, and ya'll out here talking about an oudated console war.
More importantly relating to the convo, I do think Ben even if he wasn't a pedo (I'm banking on him being one because the writing for those tweets fits the bill), you cannot glaze over the fact the dude is now deleting the posts linking him to Sar especially now that not only the subreddits are up in arms, but even their normal vids are getting them.
Also talking about their normal vids, they've been playing House Party with the new patched stuff adding themselves into the game.
They had recorded the lines, forgot about what they said, and listened back to them. But ho man the acting in this feels so insanely forced, even more so from the Grumps. I think House Party could just be viewed as a dumb indie game with cheesy actors. But having the grumps including Arin (Pin my voice demo at the front of twitter) Hanson and hearing them just sounds so friggin bad.

Arin doesn't like a game from a specific era of gaming and a lot of his complaints have to do with how the game has aged and how people over-rate it. People went slightly off-topic (5 posts, 3 from one guy) about that era of gaming and why his criticisms are invalid. It's really not that big of a deal man.

I think what really gets me here is just how well this shows off the Grumps' blatant hypocrisy.
Even with the drama ProJared, regardless of whatever side you fell on with that, silently removing the videos ahead of time to not deal with the shitstorm made sense, and most people understood why they needed to do that. But the second there's a possibility that a pedophile within their own ranks? "Oh no it's the audience who are in the wrong here; we gotta make sure to delete and destroy everything in sight to make sure they don't keep spreading their lies!!!".
It's so transparent that they don't actually give a shit about any of these issues unless it affects their personal bubble, as if they just automatically listen to the opinion of whoever is the most affiliated with the drama and the rest above or below them will forever take their word as gospel.

I'm more so waiting to see what Arin's/Allie's damage control is to it.
Right now with Ben deleting comments from the channel it's clear that the subreddit and the twitter accounts are the main outlets this info is getting out to that will be noticed beyond him .We know for a fact the big PR response will try to word this is all in a "We're sorry" kind of light and pass it off as whatever, probably sunsetting Ben if it becomes too wild so they can save their hides.
He's currently so integrated with the channel that they're gonna need to do something quick the more and more people notice his deleting trends.
Jesus Christ, what does Ben have on these spergs? The dude has just been an absolute fuck up from day 1 and has only gotten progressively worse both at his job and now for the company's image.

So during a recent stream that happened today, u/Geno098 brought the Ben stuff up to Arin in a SuperChat, and without even really reading the question, he just says "I appreciate the feedback. It's been taken care of". And that's it. No other response. And the fans are immediately treating it as gospel. I shit you not, people are now saying that the situation has been solved and that everything is completely fine now, including the guy who sent the SuperChat. This has also lead to Lovelies flooding into RantGrumps to grandstand about how "their plight on cancel culture/stuff against Ben didn't go as planned" (semi-paraphrasing).
I guess people just don't understand how BUSINESSES work, guys. That's all it was: just a business misunderstanding.
