Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

That's BEN Drowned.
But seriously, why people are obsessed drawing serial killers as queer, poc and such?
Wild autistic guess on my part, but maybe it's because serial killers and other villains are perceived as being "free" from societal restrictions and since SJWs are all about "fighting oppression" they idolize that sort of shit.

the realistic drawing is awesome, i don't see the black hair as an issue, because as previously said before, usagi has black hair in live action versions

the bottom one and the reactions towards it are fucking retar.ded though. "that skin matches a white person" oh, ok. so all anime characters need to have yellow skin then? fucking racist lunacy

There are plenty of black anime characters, they are just not as well-know/liked as the Japanese or white ones or these people just always forget that they exist.
-Afro Samurai
-Yoruichi and Tousen from Bleach (there are a lot more black/darker skinned characters in Bleach but these two are the bigger names)
-Michiko Malandro from Michiko to Hatchin
-Bob Makihara from Tenjou Tenge
-Canary from HunterxHunter
-Nils Yajima or Nils Nielsen from the Gundam series
-Carole Stanley and lots of others from Carol and Thuesday (but Tumblr/Twitter people did not like this series because of the Mermaid Sisters)
-Marik Ishtar (and his siblings) from Yu-Gi-Oh
-Claudia LaSalle from Macross
-lots of characters from Cowboy Bebop
-Kilik Rung from Soul Eater (shame he wasn't more in the series, he was a pretty cool character)
-Dutch from Black Lagoon
-Sister Krone and other children from The Promised Neverland
-Smokey, Avdol, Pucci, and Pocoloco from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
-Rei Hououmaru from Kill La Kill
-Sakaki Sowande and Doumeki from Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!.
-008 from Cyborg 009
-Casca from Berserk
....and there is probably a lot more that I didn't mention.

Also Japan is a very homogeneous country with 97 % of their population is Japanese and not to mention that lots of Japanese people are very xenophobic (they are afraid of most foreigners, not just black people). I think it's pretty great to have at least this much representation considering all of this.

carole and tuesday looks cute as hell, i'm definitely checking it out :)

So in anime, if she's not squinty-eyed and buck-tooth she's not Japanese?
I wonder how hard they've fucked up Kimetsu no Yaiba with this bullshit reasoning...

???
"PEOPLE ARE ONLY POC WHEN I SAY THEY ARE!!!"
"Japanese people are people of color."
"HHUUUUHGHHH!! NO THEY AREN'T!! THAT'S A W H I T E Y ! ! !"

I used to actually like this webcomic seeing as it was just some wholesome thingy-ma-bob, but seeing more and more comics come- it really gets into SJW territory.

I mean sure, the main character (blue haired girl) has a crush on another girl but w/e.

"fighting the good fight"

Yeah let's fight against the prison system and compare it to innocent people being beaten and forced as slaves back then. I'm sure everyone who's in prison is innocent, friendly people who never done anything.
