It’s a massive slippery slope. Ethan’s one of the biggest Youtubers on the platform, so him going after sponsorships may set a precedent that could lead to sponsors backing out of their deals with edgy youtubers, leading to a “sponsorpocalypse”.

Imagine that, Ethan’s gone on and on about how the adpocalypse was terrible and how it’s harming youtubers and how that damn pesky yellow dollar sign icon was cancerous, but not only does he have no qualms about instigating something similar, he mocks people trying to tell him he’s wrong for doing so.
