Speaking of Springy's mental illnesses, I think they probably do have a personality disorder of some sort. They just diagnose themself with like half the personality disorders that exist because they don't know much about psychology, and because personality disorders often having overlapping traits.

Also, I think "um sweaty... :)" is a meme of sorts that pokes fun at the people who call people "hun" and "sweetie" in internet arguments... I've seen other people misspell "sweetie" as "sweaty" as part of the joke.

transfat really bugs the hell out of me because it's a real thing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_fat
so when someone says they are transfat, i keep thinking they are yellow blobs of unsaturated fat
cis-fats are also a thing too

I like how Spring basically says "If you hurt yourself, you won't be able to see me for a long time". Like I know they're trying to get Jeremy to not hurt themself but something about that just rubs me the wrong way.

forgive my ignorance, but if you were transfat, i.e. wishing to become fat... becoming fat is not difficult for most people in the West? gender transition is expensive, difficult, and hard to obtain for many people, but McDonalds is both cheap and plentiful? i would think the transition to fat is probably the easiest one to make?

psudo-trans people on tumblr don't actually want to be cured.
which explains why actual trans people at least try to reconcile the difference between what they are and what they think they are (via therapy, medication, operation, or just living as what they think they are. and that's all good). and that's why i'm sure 99% of the I HATE DEM EBIL CIS PEOPLEZZZ are not really trans.
being cured means the problem is gone or under control, that means they have no excuses for being dumb, and less attention.
it's "better" (as they see it) to have a problem. but only certain problems, tumblrinas are more than happy to throw other people with real issues (ptsd, depression) under the bus.. another reason why i left.

True, I think Spring is very manipulative. She's got it in to her head that being manipulative is a ~funny lil bpd thing~. I don't know whether she has BPD or not - it's probably the most plausible on her little list of WebMD personality disorders, but she still obviously knows shit all about it.

I'd be worried for Jeremy, but they're 15 and probably live with their parents. The "don't cut yourself i'll cut you tomorrow" scares me a bit though. Wherever Spring and Jeremy's parents are, they need to get on the ball and not just assume that their little angels are going through a rebellious phase. Especially Jeremy's, if their 15-year-old is letting a 20-year-old cut them then they need to pay attention.

I see BPD being self-diagnosed a LOT on Tumblr. People tend to use these diagnoses to explain or excuse their shitty behaviour.
What's baffling about Springy in particular is that their self-diagnosis list is absolutely MASSIVE. This is exactly why you need to see a doctor for mental health issues. You really won't know until a professional tells you what's wrong. And what's even more baffling is how some of the disorders on their list contradict one another...

I think this moreso has to do with the whole thing that autistic people have narrow interests and stuff ("special obsessions"). That being said, enjoying a song over and over again is not an autistic thing.

Wasn't Springs dating other people? Because they only person I've seen them talk about is Jeremy. I'm keeping tabs on one of the people she had on her "people I'm dating" page on her old blog and I never see any interactions between the two of them.

(On a slightly unrelated note, this person's blog is a goldmine and I can see why they're dating if they really are.)
