Found this on a Hero Hei video.

The fuck is this shit?

As far as I could care, anime people are aliens from a parallel universe who live extraordinary long lives and have biological and mental needs vastly different than real life human beings, and are of a vastly different body chemistry whose aesthetics only allow them to mimic various aesthetics of human activity and certain biology. Or are well, not real.

I like how the Vic stories get more and more insane over time. He apparently threw a water bottle at someone because the bottle was wet. And he told this chick she wasn't allowed to talk about her brain tumor at his faith panel.

I remember her telling the brain tumor story once before.

And even if it was true (which I doubt), the faith panels are still Vic's panels. People attend because they want to hear him talk about faith.
"Me, me, me!"

And they call Vic a diva.

Reminds me of that cringey ass video of AGDQ from way back where some broad decided she wanted to ruin everyone's good vibes by treating everyone there like they were her therapist even though they only wanted to just speedrun games and have a gay old time for charity.

Zac Bertschy most likely offed himself.

A better body was no replacement for a shitty personality.

He did.

A bunch of ANN people and his friends on Twitter were all talking about how you should check up on people in quarentine and how it can drive some people into this last night. I figured someone killed themselves but didn't know who until I saw the ANN article and then it all clicked.

I'm not surprised. I won't cheer or dance on his grave like he did for TotalBiscuit, but I'll just say I'm not surprised. The guy came off so damn bitter all the time and hateful of everything it seemed like he was stuck in a job and hobby he grew to hate and had so much resentment for the industry. I guess JesuOtaku leaving him was one of the breaking points and then he had to sit at home for a few months was the last straw.

Van Halen Test? Is that the one about M&Ms?
Yes.
I think it's a good move to see what venues actually care about contracts.
Pretty much. You know how it goes, right?

So it all comes down to a part of the contract that states that a full bowl composed strictly of brown M&Ms must also be present in the band's dressing room at the venue before every concert. The point of this is that this is a proofreading test and a trust system failsafe for the band's redtape and legal affairs, as a venue that doesn't do this meticulous part of the bargain, fails to present the bowl, or fails to ensure the consistency, proves something is fucky with the venue's affairs and business, and that is enough to break the contract for the recieving party be held accountable.
Here it is straight from the horse's mouth.

The name is familiar, but JesuOtaku is even more familiar.

Who was Zac? Who is JesuOtaku?

What's that Lassie? 🐕 You found a panel where Vic brings up a girl who HAS A BRAIN TUMOR?

Different girl but still.

And I'm pretty sure if you were to go through all of these (there's even more than this) you'd see that Vic cares very much for others coming to God and that's why he did these.

Link

Also wow did this bitch change her tune or what. From Vic's always been kind to me to he dismissed me. "I don't care for Vic and he's so cute."

Uh huh. He didn't sign your yaoi, did he?

I could be wrong, but I think Zac Bertschy (with Justin Sevakis) interviewed Vic for the ANNcast.

Zac was the one going hard at Vic for his religious beliefs.

Edit: spelling

Yes, it was their interview with Vic in 2013.
The same interview that Hero Hei covered that caused Christopher Macdonald to file a DMCA last year (one that YouTube ultimately sided with Hero Hei).

Vic at almost 60 is still going strong while Zac met his maker at 39.

Beautiful.

Vic has tons of fans and always tried to spread positivity and had an entire movement last year to help him keep his hopes up and find ways for him to still get to meet his fans. Zac was filled with bitterness and resentment towards the changing anime community around him.

Nick said the goal of this all was to get Vic to kill himself by cutting him off from his support. It's... ironic, in a bit of a way the head ANN guy ended up doing just that for similar reasons.
