I swear to God, this is the third YouTuber this week that has(or at least promised to) taken their shitty, failure of a channel out of drama-related content and in the direction of true crime. Christ on crutches! NO MORE FUCKING TRUE CRIME! I do not understand how someone spends hours yakking about fat women eating on camera(or faggots doing makeup) and then shift right over to hours of people being brutally sent to their death. I have sat through too many Haydur Nation live chats with people practically orgasming while gushing to each other about how much they love true crime and which true channels are the best. It creeps me out.

Aphrodite's Peach is known in the HaydurNation for making "good content" and good (kiwifarms) research.

I think she's nice because her voice is not annoying and she doesn't feel the need to flex on deathfats --- but Gosh poor thing her true crime video attempt...It had like 15min and it was as deep as Alrs promises to lose weight.

Alex would probably try to be edge and different because of couse.cringe.

they keep a bunch of these phrases in their back pocket because none of this shit is about having an actual conversation and illuminating issues. it's about protecting the people who are serving the same feel-good bullying bullshit. case in point: onprogram, cherryberry, and charlie (for example) all get to criticize chantal's food choices. in any other social setting, an obese person trying that shit would get rightfully dogwalked for their hypocrisy. "BUT THEY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT" no weigh ins and no progress. "BUT SHE MONATIZIN HER ADDIKSHUN" nothing. they're monetizing it too and it's exploitation. basic "research" would bring that to light so when these haydur stans throw that "do research!" around they're just trying to safeguard their bitchfest. that's all.

See, this is something I really don't get about Zach. He works with college kids. What happen when his job (or the students he helps) finds out his majorly lucrative side gig is critiquing deathly obese mentally ill women on YouTube? That his circle, or clique or whatever is comprised of bullies and although yeah, he's not *as bad as them* he still condones their shitty behavior?

He's the only Haydur with a real future here, and he's walking a veeeerrryyy fine line.

I’d feel bad for her if she wasn’t trying out to be a reactor. Her attempt at “dollifying” Charlie is a sad attempt to ass kiss into the club. Hopefully even haydur nations standards aren’t this low.

They know and don't care, according to him. When he had around 10k subs and it was obvious his channel was taking off he said he went to his boss and told him or her everything. I think part of why he's gotten so campy lately may be an effort to separate "work" Zach from the character of "YouTube" Zach. Or he just likes to look like a musty Joowish grandma.

I know she has mentioned Chantal before but her attempts at true crime are about as deep as Chantal's were. She doesn't really seem to do much outside of read Wikipedia and maybe some sample pages of books, and possibly listen to other people who did their reading on the subject. She talks as though she's revealing some kind of secret but nothing she says has any value because she doesn't put in enough work. Maybe she doesn't have time between making drama videos and her actual job, but of she's trying to stand out via true crime she's doing pretty much nothing to stand out. That being said, she doesn't stand out as a drama channel either.

She reminds me of Sarcastic Potato, though. IIRC, Sarcastic Potato was an artist or something? She had an acrylic piece in her videos, usually. People often asked her about painting tutorials in the comments of her videos, but when she left the reactosphere, she decided to become a commentary channel instead, for some reason? Why not just do the thing that she clearly had talent in?

Aphrodite's Peach is good at summarizing situations on YouTube, but as far as I can tell, nothing else. She definitely doesn't have the personality to pull off Charlie's rise, and I think she's not as foolish as YDHB, so she's not the type to as someone to write her the cliff notes to her video. Literally any video she makes not summarizing YouTube drama is not that great. Why not just branch out from summarizing Amber and Chantal stuff to other things like drama in other communities? Is it creative? No, but neither is pretending to be researching true crime like the other 2000 people on YT who love true crime.

This issue is what's wrong with all these reactors-- they feel like they can do anything, and yet they don't even capitalize on things they're actually okay at.
