That raises an interesting point, though, because I always saw things like Vape Nation and Hugh Mungus as what made H3H3 really popular, not so much going after people and exposing e-celebs. The last time I remember Ethan instigating something like this is when he tried to call Leafy out for laughing at kids and autists, and I don't think that ever did anything to Leafy.

Youtube also changed for the worse in the time since Leafy disappeared. Now you can't be edgy or criticize Youtube's sacred cows, internet slapfights have gotten spergier and the platform is more and more about consumerism. Youtubers have to do ad reads in their videos just to stay afloat, especially if they're 'not advertiser friendly'. People are torn over the ethics of taking dirty money from RAID:SHADOW LEGENDS ffs. Taking doing Youtube seriously today is shittier than it was in 2016 and I think a lot of the appeal of the new Leafy videos is he absolutely is not taking any of this seriously.

The worst part is that the viewers just tolerate it at this point, making excuses like ''whelp, my boi's gotta need money'' when their favorite Youtuber is reading a Raid sponsor ad, the Youtube userbase always likes to mope about how the platform sucks and how the staff can do whatever they want and get away with it, but at the end of the day they still use the platform because God forbid they have to get a real job.

I'm actually surprised he made a video, last I checked he was sniping back and forth with Ralph on twitter, then made a series of video responses which frequently contained a really obvious fake laugh as he I guess live reacted to Andy Warski talking shit about him on stream or...something?
He then declared victory over the alt-right and I stopped following what he was talking about for reasons that should be clear once Andy Warski's name was brought up in any context that doesn't involve beating up a cripple, screaming "STAY BACK" like a small girl, or lighting his nipple on fire. Also because I couldn't find any palpable connection to the relevant drama.
