I have this theory that for Bob to be hired back, he actually negotiated his pay down just for the sake of getting hired.

Without his job at the Escapist and his twitter checkmark, Bob has nothing. So yeah, Bob jumped at any offer the Escapist made, no matter how low the payout.

The tweet in question that he's somehow denying:

I mean, he is telling the truth in that he did retweet someone else, and the picture wasn't originally his. Where he's trying to rewrite the past is by claiming the original tweet was a "dumb 'challenge' meme," or at least in the way he's trying to defend himself here. Instead of thinking it's dumb as in it's a stupid thing to do, he actually thought it was dumb because it wouldn't be a challenge for an average person to consoom four Double Quarter Pounders, 40(?) McNuggets, two large fries, and four sodies in an hour and a half.

I'll give Blobbo a little credit in that the original tweet is far more popular than his hilarious take on it (original has over 30k likes compared to his 250), so calling it the "MovieBob Challenge" is perhaps a little bit unfair. However, he has so little self-awareness that he fails to grasp that his opinion was so bad that people decided they'd rather slap his name on it than refer to the original. I mean shit, I went and looked up the original tweet and the replies were full of people saying "yeah I could do that ez," but none of them worded it like El Diabeto did. It was generally in a jokey sort of "haha yeah totally bruh" way. None of them actually implied that an average person would consider this "a fairly small amount of McDonalds."

Of course, if Bobby had even a modicum of self-awareness, his thread wouldn't be steadily approaching 3000 pages, so there you go.

It says a lot about the Trump dictatorship when the closest Bob will ever come to suffering for it is seeing people call him a dumbass on Twitter.

Aw, I was really hoping that Bob would take the opportunity to let his inner racist out. Start talking about how he always knew that some blacks were just as worthless as the mayo ghouls or something.
I mean, there have been very successful implementations of fully automated luxury communism at numerous times and in numerous places throughout human history. You just have to stretch your definition of "robot" a little bit.

Aren't all humans just meaty robots in the end?
(Apologies to @Flexo)

I think the MovieBob Challenge should also included watching his BVS videos while eating all that food.
Trying to stuff yourself, while at the same time watching something that makes you want to vomit? That's a hard mode version of the challenge, and hard modes are a hate crime against video game journalists, friendo. GAMERGATE NEVER ENDED!!!1

Obsolete ghouls, meet the superior being.

Believing in Qanon is just crazy. Believing that first person shooters are creating a mass psychic effect that will cause school shootings and World War III because people are like Orks in 40k is totally reasonable.

Why is Robert even trying to deny the McDonald's tweet? The tweet is still up, he's made similar tweets, and anyone can tell just by looking at him that he's a hamplanet that consooms too much fast food. Everyone knows he's a fat fuck.

Because his fans are actually stupid enough to buy into this transparent attempt at obfuscation, therefore he thinks everyone else might be too.

OK, this made me laugh way, way too hard.

Dat gaslighting tho. For all the raging and harping on alleged gaslighting from their political opponents, lefties like Blob sure do like to engage in it a lot. Almost like they're projecting.

The fact that he's claiming he didn't instead of just owning it tells me that Bobs aware that he's a disgusting fatass.

Which is hilarious, because that awareness only came about in the wake of his realization that, no, the average adult male really cannot Hoover up several pounds of McDonald's dumpster fare without major digestive issues at minimum. His initial tweet was purely reflexive and from his point of view commonsensical. "Hmm, not too much food, really." *dips hand into tub of ranch dressing, meditatively suckles his fingers*
