Preston Poulter never should have started attacking Comicsgate in the first place. He seems to do nothing but make bad decisions. One after another. Now he is making even more of them. Compounding a bad situation by making himself look worse. I'm starting to wonder if he's the dangerous type of person. He has a mad OCD fixation on EVS. Dumb as shit to be an outsider to the comic book industry and to be trying to establish yourself in crowdfunding comics and you start attacking crowdfunded comics biggest star who has thousands of fans.

He needs to move on. Go to a shrink.

As with the eigth centennial of this fine Comicsgate thread, I will celebrate the 900th page of the Comicsgate thread by dedicating a post to the group known as "Anti-CG", although thanks to the spotlight Preston Poulter has garnered, this can no longer be called rare, with 50 out of the past 100 pages being devoted to discussing the figures of anti-comicsgate.

Some popefire nobody with Micah Curtis levels of self-awareness unloads a sperg sermon at Frog under the guise of an interview with Preston Poulter.

Disappointingly the "mystery guest" turned out to be some nobody named Todd DeWolfe. Under the ostensible circumstances of "wanting an interview with Preston", his main purpose for arranging this was to not so subtly establish his credentials as a Christian, a member of "original Comicsgate" and the "Chairman of Fanspeak", a channel made up of the scraps of the ex-YBZ Facebook fanclub run by Popefire, a regular contributor to Fanspeak and its audience of 30~ viewers. Even someone as autistic as me assumed everyone involved in that group fell off the face of the earth.

Vikki went radio silent for the rest of the stream while, in lieu of actually interviewing Preston as promised, DeWolfe opted to instead attack the unnamed opponent (Dark Gift) in Preston's last debate who he crushed within 20 minutes. DeWolfe's counterargument against the empty chair was that subjective experiences do not alter the legitimacy of one's opinions - a drunkard is allowed to say drinking is bad. A classic argument made when Cecil loudly proclaims his Christianity to Doug TenNapel and demands that Doug respect his equally Christian identity. This complex argument finally spat out 10 minutes in and Dark Gift not available to respond, DeWolfe had no further questions for his interview subject.

In the absence of the interviewer or the host having anything prepared, it was up to Preston to start pulling together a topic of discussion for the show, trying to discuss things about Comicsgate, revenge porn, the steady elimination of ideological rallying points in CG, but DeWolfe cuts him off to lay out the highly intellectual analogy that all this boils down to "the Lobo creators" vs "the Steve Rogers creators", and Frog is definitely a bad boy creator, opposed the creators who believe in presenting a goodly, intellectual persona like DeWolfe. Preston nods.

That profoundly retarded non-sequitur done with, DeWolfe returns to addressing the substance of this stream - the intellectual contentions made by Dark Gift Comics in regards to hypocrisy. But having nothing to elaborate on his incredibly basic bitch argument, DeWolfe starts throwing out follow up questions and the differences between interviewer and subject start to become clear, the former being a low-info conflict averse Christian culture warrior and Preston in his response proceeding to deny the existence of objective morality, Christian ethics or concept of virtue and defending his need to always have lesbians in his comics, at one point hilariously arguing that White Lily "only had one sex scene" in the six-issue mini, an unstated massive exercise of restraint on his part. But that otherwise it could still be considered Christian fare. Homosexuals were persecuted under Stalinism after all, and since Christians hate gommunism...

Having no argument against this, DeWolfe changes the subject again to deliver a monologue made directly at Frog about how for all his hate and judgemental nature, God in turn would be judging him and his abhorrence. Eventually the sermon is distilled to "Frog is not Christian because he violated the non-judgemental NAP" and slowly digresses into a diatribe against foreigners and America-owned industry. At this point the chat is thoroughly bored off its ass, with humble kiwis and Frog joining in demanding that Sketch Therapy be put on. Vikki's own mods start joining in and booing this meandering, boring-ass "interview". But since at this point even Preston is bored, noone really says anything about it. Vikki herself bans Frog from the chat after a series of taunts along the lines of ordering his WC gaystapo to perform several "deep dives" into Preston's ass.

Preston finally decides to take control of the interview by declaring his intent to use his trademark on Comicsgate to impose standards that will clean up the disgusting and disgraceful conduct he sees within the brand, and that declaring CG open to anyone has resulted in it becoming a dumping area with the absolute worst behavior and people imaginable

Him covering the bullshit known as comics hate wasn't hurting anyone, he's just a observer like us kiwis are, yeah he's a cuck but him commenting on cg being the idiots they are wasn't hurting anyone. He just flew to the sun and try to buy comicsgate under the porn llc. But I agree if you involve yourself in gaymer gates make sure your personal stuff is kept under wraps.

He was trying to enter a market and attacking the guy who was the biggest star of the market. If he wanted to attack him he should've done it anon. It was obviously a very big mistake for him.

I'm not washing anyone's ball. I have criticized Preston for reporting Jeff to Disney, I think the lawsuit will go anywhere. I just don't like Ethan calling for the deep dive into Preston.
