Yeah, good point. If you don't know how to hit the right arrow key a few times I don't know what to tell you. It's more of a meme than anything but I have seen people getting mad about scummy sponsors in their youtube videos. Like, I get Raid Shadow Legends is a shitty pay to win mobile game but it's autistic to be upset someone you like shilled it. Seems like a result of parasocial relationships with youtubers, people are just too invested in what they're doing.

I think this attitude really hits the nail on the head for the difference between this place and others and my frustration with it, anywhere else documenting shitshows would see raid hate and say "oh cool lets go along with it, what else can i push with it too?" but here most, well a good chunk of the time its pointlessly injecting reason when they could add to the fire. which is funnier, an intifada against Raid sponsored shills because you spewed fire and brimstone rhetoric, or being assured that you are indeed a voice of calm and reason in this tard fight? If people cant read between the lines i dont see a reason to spell it out

I'm interested how, by YT animator status, he pays everyone. I don't like the content, but that quality cannot be cheap and his recent views doesn't explain that is how he pays people. We're talking 100K to 500K views as the normal range for the past year.

So what Yo Mama is in this day and age is what is known as a content farm. Now Yo Mama uploads CONSISTENTLY about 5-6 videos a week usually of about 10-20 minutes of length. He has over a THOUSAND videos on his channel all of which are pretty much clones of one another with his shitty animation compilations. 90% of these videos have over 100k views to even up to 37 million views. His videos (From like 2005 to now) constantly are getting viewage and considering he gets around 9 million views a month it's safe to say his (Disgustingly advertiser friendly) content is raking him about 5-10 thousand dollars per month which last I checked is more than enough to support yourself and a small crew to produce extremely low budget D- Youtube animation. I should also mention animation on Youtube is absurdly exploitable and easy to get amazing viewage on, so between Yo Mama's flashy clickbait thumbnails and it's animation format I don't see it becoming any less popular on Youtube. And the guy has to be getting 10 minute average watchtimes on his content he's going to dominate the shitty algorithm until he dies probably.

He may LOOK like a small Youtuber/dead channel but I assure you the viewcounts are misleading. What matters is CPM, watch time and consistency of uploads. A guy uploading 3-4 10 minute videos a week that get 60k views each is making more money then the guy who makes a 5 minute video a month that gets a million views, as each video has a different CPM and the more videos the more of a spiderweb effect occurs in the videos being showcased to more people which means more subscribers. Which therefore means more people watching your content regularly.
