Sorry for not lurking more but trying to use the search function is pointless given how many times the word comes up, but has the Garfield shit ever been explained? Does he have any "deeper" explanation for his fascination with the character or is it just some random shit he harps on?
It's most likely the latter but I think part of it is Quinton trying to usurp what remains of the Lasagnacat audience to become the premier Garfield youtuber.

As the bestes expert and OP I can explain that to you and I can tell you that we would already have an explanation if it wasnt because he has decided to postpone the video about it. Instead of trying to explain it myself I will allow the legend himself do it.

This is one of the most utterly bizarre things I've ever read. Quinton is younger than me, and yet even when I was a little kid I remember there being extremely cheap and widely available book collections of Garfield comics. My local library had them and they were sold at Barnes & Noble. My mother really liked Calvin and Hobbes (she even clipped the strip out of the newspaper from the day I was born and kept it), and when I got old enough to read them and she wanted to show me the comics she just bought me one of the compilation books. I cannot fathom the idea of printing out comic strips on paper at the office--how does that even work, by the way? Certainly not photocopying them out of archived newspapers, so was he getting them online? I have a hard time imagining a 30-something finding decades-old comics on the early 2000s internet at work and printing off just a few pages of them to bring home to his son, especially when they were significantly more easy to acquire through other means. And "my dad worked at a place that had a printer"? That was every workplace back then. Hell, probably nearly every home because again, early- to mid-2000s. It's not like Quinton was a kid in 1992.

I call bullshit on this whole story.

I can only assume that he means that his dad worked at a Copy Center or something like that and that his father chose to copypress the comics instead of buying them was the sentimental attachment of reading them in the newspaper.
But the point on just buying a compilation book, damn, those arent even expensive, you can get them signed, they usually appear at local book fairs and its not like Garfield is some obscure property that book stores dont know about.
The segment has been recorded allegedly for like a month so maybe we will get our evidence of how these photocopies work or if Quinton owns compilation books at all because for being as big of a fan of Garfield as he is, Im surprised he only displays one Jim Davis autograph on his videos and is the one he got for his Garfield vacation.

Quick question, why do these people always talk like a stereotypical movie villain, using words like "greater good"? This isn't the first time I've seen one of them talk about it.

To me, it seems more like a religion where every action needs to be justified. So whenever the person commits an act or has a view that goes against their own principles, they use the line "greater good" to excuse their "sins".

Basically it's a easy out for being a hypocrite.

Its also hilarious how this person likely unknowingly admits that voting conservative is for the benefit of the voter. Which begs the question how this person who views voting conservative as good for them and therefore logically good for other people from their point of view is supposed to know that voting left is good for "everyone"?

Its such close minded thinking that of course it comes from a supporter of Corbyn, a man whose only saving grace was Sargon tanking UKIP and therefore not being known as the worst politician in Britain who destroyed their own party.

They initialized whose idea of politics is Harry Potter and Star Wars were one side is so obviously good and true that to even slightly disagree makes you a terrible person.

That's what happens when you convince yourself that you're a good person with no flaws and that the world is at fault for not recognizing your "noble" intentions.
If there's one thing I've noticed when conversing with online left-wingers, it's that they often use the most black-and-white examples to demonstrate their values, which is why they often go on about racism, sexism, homophobia etc... . They hardly ever acknowledge that most cases in real life are morally grey with no concise answers.

I recently stumbled onto his YT videos. He's essentially a clone of Brows Held High aka Oancitizen, formerly of Channel Autism. Both are fat snobby bearded reviewers with Kyle in their name that claim to be straight but you just know they secretly crave dick.

He did this April Fools video where he made it sound like he was going to talk about Sargon of Akkad, but then it was about the historical one, not Carl Benjamin. That was only the half of it. The remainder of the video was going after another low hanging fruit: Raid: Shadow Legends. How acted like it was his sponsor and then complained about all its many flaws, as if he was saying that a billion other YouTubers haven't said about it already. I'm sure sponsors are just lining up at his door.

I'm sure he thought he was being clever, but the whole video just felt like a giant jack-off session, especially when started bragging about his 70 inch TV and ranting with his shirt off. It was like watching someone huff their own farts for 30 minutes.

After sifting through this thread, it's abundantly clear that Quinton is like those nerds in school that find friendship and acceptance with other freaks and geeks - only to dump them all because the head cheerleader said "hi" to him in the hallway. Now he spends all his time and energy trying to get the cool kids to notice him hoping they'll let him sit with them at lunch, when they're too busy plotting against each other to even notice him.

It's funny how he saw that photo of Bunty, Chris Ray Gun, Sh0e, and Some Black Guy and thought, "LOOK AT ALL THESE FAT BEARDED WHITE GUYS!". Meanwhile, aside from Todd in the Shadows, everyone in the BreadTube gang are pasty white Beckys and Bobbys.

It looks like Quinton is on the cusp of finally realizing that he trashed his YT career, his friendships, and his mental health simply because he was a kissless virgin hoping to get a taste of Contra's girldick.

Off topic but Quinton has one of the worst voices for YouTube I've ever come across. It's the combination of his naturally stilted, autistic overenunciating and the gay, womanly uptalk that Q does to intentionally mimick the style and energy of other smug lefties.

This doesn't get mentioned enough. He is one of the worst narrators not only because he infodumps and then sneaks his way into a joke that cuts any sense of seriousness but also for the aforementioned droning.
But the "gay" part, that one is amazing. I did notice that aspect too and decided to put Quinton thru a recording. Q's pitch and tone always appears in female or at worst androgynous territory. If you don't believe me install a voice coaching app and prove it yourself. Naturally just a female pitch and tone doesn't make a female voice so you have this odd combination that makes him stand out so much. He might still be trying to imitate Hontra down to the insufferable chipmunk voice.
