I don't know how much this matters and I frankly don't have proof on hand to back this up, so take this with a grain of salt:

This absolutely will kill a lot of Digibro's fanbase, if only because a lot of people watched Digibro because he was "relatable". There was something about the fact that this unkempt slobby fuck who shook every norm he could get away with, was going around spouting opinions a lot of other youtubers refused to have. Or just opinions that were presented in a complicated or 'intellectual' way regardless of whether or not they were deep and complicated. Compound that with the fact that he was thirty and a virgin and making money off doing what a lot of these people might have called a "dream job", and then sprinkling on the fact that Digi presented this as individuality and living life by his terms meant Digi was loved by people I have a hard time coming up with a word for. NEETS? channers? Incels? Robots? Those sorts of people.

Around those forums and from my own reaction there was this sense that Digi had become a little less relatable once he got a girlfriend and started making content that was geared a little bit more towards that. That sense that Digi was just like them and successful was starting to wear away a little. I've been lurking in the 4chan threads that keep popping up on this and the same sentiment pops up: I stopped watching when he got a girlfriend.

The thing about this is that he's going to lose all those people who hung onto him not because of the content but because they identified with Digi. They didn't even necessarily like him, they just saw themselves in him. He's lost so many different parts of his audience that I frankly can't see the last vestiges hanging on. There won't be a reason to watch Digi content anymore. The content was never really that good, you just hung around because it was Digi saying it. And you didn't like Digi, you just related to Digi. And you related to Digi because you were just as pathetic as he was. Troons aren't going to identify with Digi because he's too creepy and pedophilic (which is kind of ironic).
