this focus on whether or not you're "allowed" to be an asshole to someone based on some kinda oppression or privilege quota, seeing inter-personal interactions with someone of a certain group as a war between the groups, and disregarding individuals feelings because you think they're only equalizing some kinda collective cumulative harm. it's all most definitely a sign of not having empathy
Even Jess admits it's "not healthy." No, it's not. It's very unhealthy. It makes you into a very bitter, angry person that nobody wants to hang out with because you're surrounded in a cloud of negativity. People don't vibe with that shit unless they're also bitter cunts.
The most common reason I've read is shown in this comic page:

It's that little glimmer of self-awareness kiwis saw that gave them hope for Jesse. Someone who underneath the PC bullshit spewed between panels, was a person crying out for help. A person who wants to be loved for themselves and not their transness but knows they'll be chewed up by the SJWs if said outright. Someone who has talent but stands in their own way. Buuuuuuut as was seen this year with New Guy and now Thief Dog, whatever glimmer of hope Jessika had of being better than this bitchy snob has been shot in the face. She's fine with grasping onto any attention and looking like a jackass that even the likes of Moviebob can look morally superior next to. (and he's also a jackass with a thread here.)
That's how I see it. I'm sure anyone who's been here longer could put it better though.
There were other comics that showed a more vulnerable side to her, like the comics she made where she drew her dysphoria and self-doubt as an ugly bug-creature that berated her about how she was a phony and she'd never be a "real woman," which are thoughts that hardcore troons try to violently suppress. The fact that Jess was willing to explore those feelings at all, and did so in a way that offered a glimpse into what it's like to have gender dysphoria, made her very sympathetic to a lot of us thread regulars. She also used to be a bit more playful with us, as demonstrated with the Bradley comics, which we found instantly endearing.
I honestly do think she has changed. She doesn't let her mask slip anymore, instead she doubles down on the worst opinions she picks up from the toxic clique that she's cultivated. Perhaps there was a time where she looked back on her years of being a teenage shoplifter with some level of guilt, and used the thief dog comic to try and rationalize shit she can't apologize for and impress her anti-capitalist fair-weather friends. I honestly can't say, but the fact that she's decided to die on these hills shows that, lingering doubts or not, she has chosen to commit to being the worst kind of person in an effort to cover up her very real desire for validation. And that's terrible.
I really don't think there's any hope for her unless she either leaves that friend group, or is forced to leave due to being cancelled. Even then, yeah, she'll still be a jerk who begs for attention and validation, but she'd at least have that bit of self-awareness that she's tried to stomp out of existence back.
I feel bad for her on some level, but she did this to herself, and she just keeps digging herself deeper.
