Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

The billions of dollars we wasted could have been spent upgrading our outdated infrastructure, high-speed rail everywhere, upgrading Internet speeds, and investing that money in both the economy and education. But we wasted countless billions on the Middle East instead.
Or instead of gay shit like that we pay down the debt AND cut some taxes.

So we're going to ignore the constant useless wars we started, giving money and weapons to Al-Qaeda and the Taliban back in the 1980's, the CIA being that incompetent and allowed the Mullahs to take over Iran and kick out the Shah, and wasting countless billions on Afghanistan.

If we hadn't wasted countless billions on trying to civilize a bunch of backwards religious fanatics in the sand that wage war on each other every year then the United States could have had the neat stuff that countries such as Japan, Switzerland, Denmark, and Finland has now.

Wait till you figure out how much money we just hand over to Israel for no good reason.

This one is halfway there. Orcs in d&d style fantasy are normally stereotyped as raiders who really only penetrate the Empire's interior when the political system is a bunch of corrupt navel-gazing twats neglecting defense, presiding over a decayed economy, and ignoring warnings from the common folks sending word of danger coming. Basically the pop-culture view of barbarians sacking Rome, but in green face.

If the orcs are here, that means the system was not working beforehand, and needed to be overthrown. If it takes an orc to do that, well, that's just what it takes.

Why... why would you permanently apply this to your body?

Because approval/likes/retweets/upvotes from strangers on the Internet is more addictive than crack.

Just a week or two ago, there was a brief Twitter kerfuffle about how orcs are a racist caricature of black people, because it's okay to kill them or something.

It was because orcs were being described as "savage" and in a turn of events nobody could have seen coming the Twitter thought police projected their own racism onto that one word saying it meant orcs were black/injuns.

Dude, that was going on on the internet back in 2001-2003 with the release of the LotR movies.
Anyway, while trying to figure out what to write, I kept stumbling on articles about how Tolkien was a racist and/or about how The Lord of the Rings is pro-war propaganda. Both of these ideas have dedicated adherents. For example, John Yatt says in the British newspaper, the Guardian:
The Lord of the Rings is racist. It is soaked in the logic that race determines behaviour. Orcs are bred to be bad, they have no choice. The evil wizard Saruman even tells us that they are screwed-up elves. Elves made bad by a kind of devilish genetic modification programme. They deserve no mercy.
To cap it all, the races that Tolkien has put on the side of evil are then given a rag-bag of non-white characteristics that could have been copied straight from a BNP leaflet. Dark, slant-eyed, swarthy, broad-faced — it’s amazing he doesn’t go the whole hog and give them a natural sense of rhythm.
And as for the war-propaganda thing, well, that’s really all over the place. For example, Karen Durbin recently wrote in the New York Times:
t’s impossible not to experience Peter Jackson’s “Two Towers” as war propaganda of unnerving power. The scene in which ranks upon ranks of enemy Uruk-hai warriors march in perfect order seems like a spine-chilling tip of the computer-graphics hat to Leni Riefenstahl’s ‘Triumph of the Will’…. On the intentional level, “The Two Towers” is a grand adventure tale, in which good and evil are comfortingly clear. But even without the accidental echoes — evil or “Evildoers?” Sauron or Saddam? And how many towers? — the movie would have its own double edge. Dehumanizing the other guy is the first step in training soldiers and fighting wars. The danger is that this is what makes not just warfare palatable but extermination itself.

Sigh. Okay, yes, it’s true. Many of the Orcs (and the super-Orcs) are dark-skinned and have slant-eyes. They are also — how shall I put this? — Orcs! Ya frickin’ idjit!

To be fair to them, there is some basis that Tolkien did base them on stereotypes of black people in his time. This wasn't created from whole cloth. That being said, its so removed from its source material, filtered through about 5 layers of interpretation, and just fucking idiotic to sperg about.

Suppose it's like being really proud of a meme you make so you want to post it everywhere even when no one likes it. Bit like some of those "meme makers" on Twitter that are a step below carpe donktum that'd reply to Trump tweets giving condolences for a school shooting happening with a video of Pelosi's face plastered on a dancer in a silly music video.

This whole thing is very funny, but I'm not sure the media will carry the water here, and I'm damn sure Enwards don't really care if the media doesn't tell them to.

Lol if you don't think blacks won't still vote for Biden overwhelmingly over Trump. "Dems r real racists" is at least 30 years old and it still hasn't worked.

Giving me too much pleasure seeing Sessions getting shit from Trump and having to flail about essentially having to defend the Mueller investigation (it's pretty much the effect if he says he upheld the rule of law).

It's led to some to essentially praise Sessions for the fact he let the Mueller probe carry on.

Sessions, and a decent number of his fanboys, are essentially having to defend letting Mueller do whatever he wanted for several years.

It would've worsened things for Trump, legally, if Sessions hadn't recused himself. No matter what you think of Sessions, Tommy Tuberville, the guy Trump endorsed out of spite, is a piece of shit. He's an amnesty cuck who wants to import hundreds of thousands of street shitting bindis here on H1B visas. Would you rather Tuberville or Sessions be in charge of Bama?

I mean you're not wrong, but it will get more of them to switch sides, the "they are the real racist" didn't work because it depended on the voting mases to see the long term results of democratic plans. This is a little different, this isn't "they're the real racist" this is the Democrats screeching "Get back on the plantation".

Sessions HAD to recuse himself, legally, for Trump to successfully get a Not Guilty verdict. It would've worsened things for Trump if he hadn't.
A Not Guilty verdict where? An impeachment trial where everyone would typically be expected to vote along party lines?
