So they're replacing tiddie monster teacher (something Billy can masturbate to), with Sonicfox (something he cannot masturbate to). Even though she'll still be there in practice mode and in actual matches taking place on this stage and Sonicfox only replaces her in tutorial mode, Lab Zero Games are officially guilty of the most heinous of crimes and deserve death.


EDIT: I have no direct proof that this is one of the big reasons Billy's mad about it, but we know enough about him that we can safely conclude that he's fucking livid because of this.

The reason they replaced Tiddie Teacher in Skullgirls is because Sonicfox is a prominent professional fighting game player with several championship titles under his belt who has, especially recently, been playing a lot of Skullgirls and putting out rather thorough tutorial videos for the game on Youtube. Because of this, the devs decided they wanted to acknowledge this by putting his fuckin' ugly fursona in the game. This is probably not the best idea since Sonicfox is, to put it lightly, a controversial figure in the FGC. But, it was a choice by the devs to pay tribute to a well-known fighting game pro who they think is exerting a positive influence on the game (again, this is debatable at best, but that's how the devs see it). It was a choice by the devs made without any outside pressure. I really doubt anyone was trying to force them to replace the teacher character with Sonicfox.

That is, literally, not censorship. Billy actually believes "censorship"="TAKIN AWAY MUH DIGITAL TIDDIES" for any reason whatsoever. Because, as stated, his morality is similar to that of a fucking housecat's. But the cat at least has the excuse of being an actual animal.


EDIT: I also just checked and can confirm that the teacher is still present and Sonicfox is absent if you pick that stage for a regular fight. His character is literally only on the stage for the tutorials.

I'd argue that changes done in localization/remakes are still worth pointing out even if the average normie doesnt care about that kind of thing, people actually invested in the hobby will on the other hand (and then can decide if the changes will affect playing that version of the game). But I'd rather have someone alike of Legends of Localization or Censored Gaming making articles rather than a miserable joke of a blogger like Billy who cant be assed to do a minimum of research by himself.

Billy and his community also has a tendency to smear on people who arent pretending to be 100% against game censorship 24/7 despite anyone can make a few concessions in one way or another, like reading visual novels on game handhelds for the comfort even if the adult-rated content is gone.
