Software is worse than people are at understanding faces. Both the photos of Marie have very similarly shaped/proportioned features and have similar distances between features. More importantly there's nothing one has that's missing from the other. If not for the difference in her expression and the angle, and the huge difference in lighting, there'd be no doubt.
