Ah, that makes sense! I thought I read most of the recent pages, but must have missed that post. OK, so the mystery continues. I have always believed that Zinnia was attending school, just because "if I get my AA, then all the biologists on Twitter will have to take me seriously!" is exactly the kind of hubris I expect from him.

Meanwhile, the reality is that NONE of the people he really wants to stick it to are going to respect his bonafides until he goes all the way to PhD! Does he really intend to do that just to avenge narc injury on social media? Does he really think that it will be something like the Itchy and Scratchy episode where Itchy goes to college really fast to get a degree in train engineering so he can run over Scratchy? I think he DOES think like that and that is more funny to me than him lying about going to college.

You've got at minimum two more years to get a BS/BA, at minimum two years to get a Masters, and then many more years to get a PhD. THEN you get to do postdocs. See you in a decade, Zins. Also, who knows if Twitter will even exist in a decade (god, I hope not...)? How many of his enemies will still care enough to engage in debates on social media? It's like Jake Alley and Gamergate. The world has moved on and literally nobody cares about the times Zinnia got smoked in a twitter debate with actual academics... except for Zinnia.

On the other hand, I can see where the skeptics are coming from: two years on that campus, and not a SINGLE bit of campus property shoved up his butt on-camera? Not a single "I'm a slutty Randall Flagg!" selfie from the campus quad?

You also wouldn't be lying down in a well lit room where people can just come and go as they please. You would be in a dark bedroom with the door shut (maybe even locked) so that no one will disturb you. FFS, Zach. At least read some accounts of actual migraine sufferers so you can tell a decent lie about it.

Also, he just admits that he doesn't wear pants around the house while the kids are home. He's on the living room sofa without pants pretending to be suffering so he can get the thrill of the kids seeing him in his underwear. What an absolute degenerate. He and Heather should both be taken out back and shot for the sake of those kids.

I don't believe he is in school because I think he would enjoy proving us farmers wrong way too much to withhold proof of his dean's list achievement and mathematical genius. But, I have to admit, it would be much funnier if it turns out that he was actually in school. Because if he is actually enrolled, I'm willing to bet that he will soon stop talking about rocking his math classes now that he is past the remedial level. And his dream of being a statistician will be memory holed once he figures out he doesn't have the ability to do that kind of math.

Honestly, I think Heather bought the lie - for a while, anyway. She'd drive Zack to campus, and then he'd fart around the campus hoping to find a replacement for Penny to no avail, then call Heather to pick him up when he got bored. Eventually Heather must have seen the wildly outdated books and the numerous inconsistencies, and put two and two together. Considering that Zach has no income to cover costs, it's almost assured that Heather had to shell out the cash, and unless she was dumb enough to give Zach the cash directly (and she probably did), she'd have to notice that there hasn't been any bills for tuition and other fees showing up in her inbox or mailbox and realized that Zach's not going to class.

One way or another, Heather has definitely caught on that this is another ploy for Zach to not only gloat about how SMRT he is, but as an excuse for why he hasn't gotten a job that doesn't involve perforating his colon. Of course, since Heather is a doormat that is afraid of dying alone, she puts up with it and just plays along so that Zach doesn't start embarrassing her in public (well, more so than usual) and dragging her ass on Twitter to the woke crowd she so desperately wants to impress. I still believe that Zach is in "college" in that he's been taking the remedial courses necessary to catch up to the undergraduate prerequisites, and that he's been taking these courses online since before the pandemic began. I noted before that his gripes in March were about the kids and Heather being home all the time, rather than how inconvenient it was for his classes to rapidly change to an online format. He had also stopped mentioning how many friends he was making in his classes, and was unable to find 2 people to listen to his presentation for a Speech/Communications class (classic introductory required class), before the statewide change.

Valencia State's Summer I schedule began May 4th, so I can see him taking trigonometry for those final credits that he needed. He's mentioning a "transfer" to a 4-year college but not how excited he is to finally earn his A.A. I'm pretty sure it's because he's not taking actual undergraduate courses, he's taking the classes to qualify for undergraduate courses. And transferring from a community college with his remedial classes means that he doesn't have to take the SATs or any placement exams. So he almost certainly still has the full 4 years to go for his B.A. If he starts posting about precalculus, American History I, Biology for Art Majors, and other 100-level intro courses in the fall I will bust a gut laughing. Plus he reads here so if it really is all a lie, he can use this post for ideas. He hasn't taken most of the classes listed for Valencia's A.A. in Accounting Transfer Plan, so I'm close to positive that he's fulfilling the prerequisites at the community college and then actually starting the work towards a degree at the 4-year university.

And in regards to Heather footing the bill, community colleges are actually quite cheap, and Zach most likely qualified for financial aid as he's never been in college before. The expected family contribution would be low because of the dependents. Even if he didn't qualify, taking babby's first algebra class online would cost <$200 per credit. So he is still obviously lazy and entitled, not to mention stupid (adult man boasting about a 3.87 GPA in fucking algebra, my sides ), but might not actually be draining Heather's entire budget at the moment. If he gets into the 4-year, we'll see if he makes the financial aid cutoff.

In conclusion, Zach is fat and I would not have sex with him.

Heather is not unique on this. There are many people, men and women, who live with partners who are very abusive and they don't leave them even when they gain nothing from them. I mean, I could understand some people enduring mistreatment if your partner is a millionaire, but it's not the case with normal people who simply don't want to be alone. Unlike men who are a bit more open, women, specially young women, are very shy and insecure about their bodies. I've shared many locker rooms in my younger life and I didn't even want to be seen in underwear by my friends. Men don't judge you, but women do and we know that. The delusion that people like Yaniv have is that our female locker rooms are the intro scene from Carrie, when girls are all happily walking around naked. Never happens.
