The history of rape is not something I thought I'd ever have to elaborate on, but Kate should've paid attention to her political science classes she had to attend assuming her degree didn't come from a cereal box, because it's been part of some cultures or religions dating back to ancient times, like Islamism, to punish rape with severe retribution which included outright execution. I only bring this up because she absolutely should've known this given political science classes would presumably divulge into why certain laws exist to begin with, and their history.

From what I can gather, “he/him lesbians” are lesbian women who feel a strong enough attachment to/preference for masculinity (in whatever form they perceive it as or that it takes) that they want to go by “he/him” pronouns, but still consider themselves a woman (since “Pronouns aren’t gender,” dontcha know).

This is obviously exceptional, since “he” is a word which has been used to denote a man in the English language for a very long time. To be fair, though, understanding that you are a woman but still wanting to be referred to as “he” is at least somewhat more reality-based than telling people to call you “he” because you are pretending to be/convinced that you actually are a man and not the woman that you are.

If we could replace troonism with just a movement of people who liked to go by incorrect pronouns but didn’t expect you to flatter their delusions that they really are the incorrect sex, or even that biological sex “isn’t real”. I think I’d take that devil’s bargain (since it was basically what many gay people did, have done and to some extent still do, lol).

And to be honest, now that we’ve put it i.mn these words, that’s what transsexualism was for most of its existence. Most transsexuals have understood and admitted they were really their biological sex.
