Don't cashmere goats need a lot of fussing? Like they're a lot more delicate than a standard goat, plus keeping the coat nice enough for harvesting is harder.

We are looking into a loan to allow us to expand our housing. We get requests every day from folks that desperately need a place to live. We can handle about ten folks currently and we are full, with a waiting list of 27, so housing is our next goal. We are also going to expand our animals to include bees and cashmere goats, and we hope to have our own milling facilities up by 2023 to save us a tremendous amount of money by doing it in house.

We hope to have 15 full time positions giving trans folk employment by the end of this year.

However, I'm pretty sure the last time a Kiwi checked the ranch's yarn listings, the price was something like $10 more expensive than equivalent yarn not produced by troons pretending to be a living fairytale unicorn princess story. Marking up your product cuz troons doesn't make for a very successful business model.

Even on sale it was pricey. I'm sure there are tons of other alpaca ranches in Colorado if someone just wanted to buy local, there is literally nothing that sets this yarn apart from any other generic looking alpaca yarn aside from the fact it's from a tranny ranch.

Usually people who do those things do it as a side hustle more than rely on it for their regular income. That's not even mentioning that we're in the middle of a pandemic which is going to have financial consequences for people for the next few years - people aren't likely to buy overpriced wool or honey period.

As for them having "15 people working full time" by the end of the year... how are they going to pay them if they're constantly having to do fundraisers for shit breaking down? There's nothing wrong with being ambitious, but there's a difference between being ambitious and being delusional.
