Are you like a First Amendment Auditor or something?

We don't know what this guy died from. All we have is one cell phone video that starts half way through and doesn't show the larger situation.

I'd say there isn't enough here to come to any definitive conclusion. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say he was pinned for so long because there was a mob surrounding them screaming "dey hurt his nec and he can't breeve" and it was more important to keep the suspect restrained until they did crowd control.
I think I saw a second video, that started later than the first video, but was from across the street. And yes, you could see a crowd of ~6-8 people gathering around the police and yelling at them. I'm pretty sure that made the situation worse, not better.

I don't think people are actually interested in making situations better though, in general.

Yeah, its not like there's a cop car he was next to that he could have been tossed into by the 4 cops. Nope, way easier to just keep guys on top of him for 7 mins, one with a knee on the neck (a bit of a vital spot there you want to keep unobstructed. Pro tip incase you didn't know)

Its his fault for being pinned so long, not the fault of the people who are empowered to keep control that kept him pinned to the ground. Lol fucking clown world.

I'm 100% for empowering the police and giving them room to operate but they need to be held accountable for their actions when they fuck up.

That's where the whole "arresting people" and "enforcing the law" comes in, or as you'd call it 'racist police brutality! You can't arrest a black man for doing a crime! Kill all police REEEEEEEEEE'.

The heart of the matter is that a number of people are opposed to the notion of police as a concept, either because they don't believe in personal accountability, the use of force under any circumstances, or because they are a criminal.
We give them extra power, more legal weight, and resources but its because they don't get respect and asspats whenever they fuck up their job by the citizens they can't help but hold animosity against the public.

Remember, its your duty to bend over abd spread them for the police else its your fault when they put you into an unauthorized hold and accidently kill you.

I wonder if that baby who got flashbanged and burned by the no knock raid said something disrespectful to the police and thus deserved it.

Same with the guy shot in hos sleep for having wrong opinions. Must have frightened the police into killing him by snoring to loud

The lady who was shot in her kitchen by the cop outside. Must have looked menacing standing there alone in her kitchem

Not all police cars are equipped with a secure back seat. Many of them just have regular back seats that have no partition between the front and back. One of the reasons it took seven minutes was they could have been waiting for a transport vehicle that does have the secure back seat to put him in.

I’ve been cuffed throw on the ground and had the shit kicked out of me by law enforcement. They lied every step of the way, and I just gave the video to my lawyer, and that went away.

Now, having said that, there is no such thing as an innocent police officer/Fed. I can see a Oklahoma City bombing incident targeted at a police station happening. If that did happen I’d put money on that guys books and tell the dead cops kids the worlds a slightly better place now.

iveOnly had a few run in with the cops ( mainly from being pulled over) and out in the country they are pretty chill. I just do the “yeah I know I was going 80” and either get a warning or just told to be careful. The city cops? Fuck sake bunch of assholes act like I’m a criminal because I keep an ar15 pistol in my car. I don’t usually like that I DONT HAVE TO ANSWER THAT shit, but fuck them.

Why do you have a gun in your car? Give me a ticket or let me go. Can I search your vehicle? No, I don’t want someone fucking my car up because I keep it clean. When I say I’ll wait for dogs they let me go. Fuck it, next power tripping cop I deal with I won’t be so polite.

this is the most libertarian thing I've read in my entire life

I get your point but in this case the criminal family inside knew a raid was likely so they put the crib against the door to use the baby as a human shield and the cops really didn't have any way of knowing that.

Two sides to every story.

She probably did look pretty menacing considering she had a gun in her hand.

Everything about the way the police handled that call from 911 dipatch to the officers actions were a dumpster fire but your Black Lies Mattering the facts of the case don't do you in favors either.

There planning another protest at the house of one of the officers.
Which honestly makes a lot more sense than attacking randos and looting 7-11s

Just to make sure we are clear om this. They can afford

Military grade equipment
Body armour
Triple overtime
Helicopters
APC
Body cams
Bullets for training
Surveillance vans and systems
Whole fleet and gas of cars
Payouts for innumerable fuck ups

What they cant afford
Plexiglass between the front and rear seat

Last I checked, we are in America. You are allowed to handle guns in your home. And protect yourself when you hear rustling outside.

You shouldn't expect officer busybody who showed up uninvited to be sneaking around your place, not bothering to assess the situation

I hope a cop does a shoot first, ask questions later on you.

That's why you have patrol cars for transporting arrested citizens and you have non-partitioned cars for transporting officers, K9 units, cargo, and gear. It's almost like different situations call for different responses, interesting.

I agree with some of your points on policing itself, but you're just being weird and pedantic now.

Great idea, rather then playing Rambo. Wait outside for the target or use all the fancy surveillance system to get an understanding of the layout/situation.

No need to go on guns a blazing because it looks badass.

4 officers there. Did they all ride in the same car? Did they manage to all show up in the wrong type of car?

Nobody is advocating to hung the cops involved immediatly, just for a lawful consequence that any regular person would be subjected to under the same circumstances given the facts and evidence.
I’ll advocate for it as long as they air it on TV, include corrupt judges, politicians, and journalist.

might be a few weeks long, but that would be a bad ass show to watch. Also, it would bring the moral of the people up after this coof bs.

Would this include hanging the current prison population?

Obesity kills yet another black person - but the details may surprise you! (Joke is that cops are fat).

That's why so many departments are hiring chunky black women who used to be TSA onto the cop teams. Public only gets heated when it's a race issue. If this was a fat black lady who gave this dude the ultimate face sit, twitter instead would be up in flames about how women are vulnerable and need to defend themselves.

Honestly, I welcome all departments hiring black women. Worked for the Irish and now they are considered semi-human.

Footage has come out of the police employing teargas on protesters.
