Yes, the cop was in the wrong for kneeing a surrendered man on the ground to death, yes cops need to be held accountable for their actions as anybody else.
However, civil unrest does nothing but ignites and fans the flames of a fucked up situation. Even more so, stuff like this may encourage more unruly cops in the situation AND muddies your message of protesting.
I doubt these people even care about what happens and just wants an excuse to cause a ruckus. Way to ruin it for everybody involved.

George being a fuck up criminal. Okay, sure, best interest if you don't get arrested... see how well that worked for him. He looked to be fairly physically compliant, but looked like he was talking shit in the one video to antagonize the cops, but who knows. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. The whole saying he can't breathe thing, yeah looks to be true, but that is such a standard bullshit behaviour. With women and dindus especially. Look at almost any arrest of a woman on YouTube, and they are squealing that their arms are being broken, they can't breathe, or they are being sexually assaulted.
The primary cop was a tard. I actually doubt he planned on a death occuring, but was incompetent and full of hubris. The idea he intentionally murdered the guy in this day and age, all the while knowing he was being filmed is exceptional. A knee to the neck is perfectly fine IMO, if done correctly. I've had it happen as I was being handcuffed, belt and shoes removed and searched. Then it stopped. It hurts, but it's not the end of the world. He looked to be putting his full weight on as well, that just makes him look more exceptional. Even cuffed and searched, I can see a couple of reasons to reapply the knee. If there is a crowd and you are assessing risk for a few seconds, the guy is still bucking a lot, or if the suspect starts bashing his face into the pavement. Probably all cop cars should be outfitted with tard helmets, spit masks, and leg irons as well as cuffs. The cop was experienced enough to know that his duty was to not only protect himself and his fellowofficers, but the suspect and bystanders as well. IT looks to me like the guys just had the standard, low-grade police sadism for who they are arresting, was sick of shit and trying to show a bit of flex in front of the filmers due to insecurity. Totally unprofessional, ccriminal, but I don't see the intent to murder. Maybe if he has a manifesto that suddenly pops up, or a history of online racist shit, but as it stands, any prosecutor who charges him with murder is hoping he gets off, of assumes he won't get a fair trial. Because I can't see any way to show he actually MEANT to kill the guy that his defense couldn't spin as a harried, overworked and stressed cop being incompetent.
The other three cops should have done something. I give them a bit of latitude. Cops, like cults, militaries, and like asian grooming gangs use the exact same process to get new members to be compliant and follow orders. They should still be fucked, but not too hard. "Okay, you're still a cop, but we can't ever actually trust you with a suspect again, or dare to have you testify in a court room."
The police union and command for immediately throwing them all under the bus. That would completely shitcan morale, and make cops LESS likely to treat suspects as innocent until proven guilty. "WTF? We have to treat that piece of shit who just raped that girl with a presumption of innocence, or afford all rights to that methhead gang banger when our own system doesn't give us the presumption of innocence? Fuck that!" They should have been all put on unpaid administrative leave until an investigation was completed. As it is, they are being treated with less fairness that the scumbags they invariably see every day. That will only lead to more police discontentment and corruption. I doubt the main cop will be in the position to do it, but I can see the other three being able to sue out of this. Firing them all also taints a jury's perception, and could help in their defense. The only way they could have fucked up more was not addressing it at all and leaving the four on the force as usual.
The media and activist class. This just stokes racial division, when there is no indication thus far there was any racial component. Maybe that will come up, but so far, nope. And wait until the autopsy. I doubt it will show he ODed after ingesting a bag of heroin, but I also wouldn't be surprised. Picking the wrong flag to rally around hurts your cause. Again, the media and activist narative could taint a jury and get any and all of them off on criminal charges.
The rioters/looters. Not only do they fuck up their own communities, all the while saying whitey is fucking the black community, but the tolerance for that sort of venal opportunism will create nothing but apathy or hostility in people who would otherwise have been supportive. Hope that 32" LG TV and 12 pack of PBR was worth it.
The only three groups likely to still weigh in on this: the Trump administration, the Governor, and the prosecutor's office, haven't yet worked against their own agenda. I doubt the Trump administration will fuck that up, and I doubt the governor will either, but it certainly seems possible. The prosecutor's office, not so much. Either no meaningful charges will likely be brought, or a murder 2 charge or somesuch, which would be hopeless to get a conviction in any reasonable court. Then of course, there would be a fuck ton more rioting. I really don't see how a court could convict for anything more than a negligent homicide. A good defense should be able to paint him as stressed and therefore temporarily negligent or incompetent, and a prosecutor would have one hell of a time arguing he was acting with malice while knowing he was being filmed by multiple people.
Shit, with this going on a lawyer could basically say that the 4 cops can't get a fair trial because any other verdict than guilty will cause more riots. They can even argue that they can't get fair sentencing or there will be riots and the jurors will be in danger if they hand down anything other than a guilty verdict.
