The difference?
The difference being that the Sons of Liberty weren't a bunch of chimping out dindus who, given the chance to drop all pretense to being civilized, robbed their local city blind and tore shit up like a bunch of enraged monkeys flinging shit at everyone while banging on steel bars. Yeah, as much as I would like to believe that this is going to make all of the soyboys "baste and redpilled," realistically, there are many people who will refuse to leave their conditioning until the very end. The silver lining is that at least many of these people might not be around for long when shit really gets bad.

3 Thoughts;
1. The riots are a good defence of the police all on their own. 3 days of looting will turn most people with assets into supporting the police, even if there is occasional gross negligence.
2. There's a non-zero chance these rioters accidentally spread corona to one another and decimate their own communities.
3. If the police were guilty of even 10% of what the rioters and the twitter mob were accusing them of, they would have made that Target parking lot look like Tiananmen Square by now. They've now got the dual reputation of being monstrous killers and also impotent cowards. Perhaps delegating the national guard to be the Bad Cop is better for long-term relations, but these people probably won't be stopped by anything short of rubber bullets.
