Frogology. Go back and examine him. He has two settings. He has to own his 'enemies' and he has to flex to those he views as his pack. When he got cross with Vox and JDA, who not incidentally were challenging his control, he emphasized how politically diverse post-CG was and flew his rainbow pride. When Doug enacted operation GTFO, Frog stepped up his trolling, becoming more degenerative and flagrant.

All the above is bad enough, but when you view how it wears on people on your side, the hard conservative group or the born again crowd, you see him taking a bad situation and making it worse. I don't know that this is fake. Could it be, sure? But it fits. He does the thing he knows will most piss off the people he views as his enemy. That's why I have no clue how this shakes out.
