It doesn't make sense to me why people would burn the shit out of everything. And for what? Justice for George Floyd?
Peaceful protests can be justice. Violent protests can be justice.
Looting Target, burning Autozone to the ground, running off with shit like iPhone 11's - that's not justice. That's an excuse for some exceptional people to profit off of a man's death.

Think of it this way, the people rioting believe that everyone around them has taken advantage of them and stolen their rights and their money. This includes the small locally owned shops and definitely applies to the big business that have proffeted off of "Cultural/Systematic/Genetic Racism" By burning down and looting not only are they destroying the property of the people who abused them but they are reclaiming their wealth. It's actually a real neat way of thinking because you can never be responsible. After you scare away business from your area and the economy goes to the shitter it isn't your fault the system keeps you from opening up shops and the system wants to punish you so they won't come back.

I mean they may be able to prove a point if the areas that are razed end up having black owned shops and businesses flourish in them but that would require the rioters to want to improve their lifes and do some work.

Ever since Martin Luther King and El Hajj Malik Shabazz got smoked by the powers that be, your community has been fucked. There is no like modern day Booker T. Washington or Frederick Douglass for your community in this era unfortunately.
Closest is Thomas Sowell or Larry Elder and neither are big enough and the latter works for propaganda outlets despite his useful advice.

holy fuck, how in the hell was this show so damn fucking based

I just hope this doesn't spread, I live near the ghetto and I don't know if my Indian neighbors can summon Indra to protect the place.
Thankfully the weather in Minneapolis has cooled down for the weekend. A heatwave like they've had recently on top of this surely would aggravate things significantly.

I assume that it was about justice in the beginning, until they decided to burn the city to flames.
Your naivety is heartening in a saccharine sort of way. Welcome to your first rodeo, it won't be your last!

I'm gonna fucking cry if First Ave gets destroyed. Its a legendary music venue in downtown. Most notably, Prince shot Purple Rain there, along with performing there a ton in the 80s.
The protestors are a lot of yuppies and millennials (I know my people) and college guys, they arent gonna destroy a bar, food joint, downtown staple with beer and music.

THere are a lot of people there treating this like a party, with booze and getting high and shit. I mean that always happens at protests like these, but look at some of these streams. I get the booze, youre in a tense situation but there are dudes getting stoned in some of the streams.

The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
And a dark wind blows
The government is corrupt
And we're on so many drugs
With the radio on and the curtains drawn
We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
And the machine is bleeding to death
The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles
It went like this:
The buildings tumbled in on themselves
Mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble
And pulled out their hair
The skyline was beautiful on fire
All twisted metal stretching upwards
Everything washed in a thin orange haze
I said: "kiss me, you're beautiful -
These are truly the last days"
You grabbed my hand and we fell into it
Like a daydream or a fever
We woke up one morning and fell a little further down -
For sure it's the valley of death
I open up my wallet
And it's full of blood
