"Dude come on you dont have to spend money to enjoy the game, you spend money because the game's fun"
The way it works is that there's a page called the store, where people come and voluntarily give donations to Scopely. They say "Man, I really like this event and I want to see more of it" so they make charitable contributions of their own free will via Paypal, which is an online currency system. It's sort of like when a waiter gives you a really good piece of meat and you leave them a tip as a way of saying "I really like it when you give me the meat like that."

It has to be said up front, just to be clear, that it's not mandatory to make these contributions to do well in the game, or to keep the game going. Yes, the contributions are what ensure you do well and are used to financially support the game so it can keep going, but they are NOT. MANDATORY. Okay? Sounds good? Okay then.

So to sum up thus far, Phil has begged relentlessly, been embarrassed, ridiculed, and humiliated, and endlessly battled detractors all to establish a small network of paypigs who haven't made Phil rich, or paid for him to travel the world, or set him up for early retirement. No, all that "work" brought in enough money where Phil 1) had to declare bankruptcy, 2) is just rich enough to be a paypig for someone else---but without enough money to really be successful, and in a situation where even if he does well he can't even admit that it's him playing.

Kinda brings some reality to Phil's recent posts about "winning" and being "unkillable".

@BT9494, is Phil spending money or have there been free/earned wrestlers available?

Wow, five new ones? Let's see...

The latest event was for the new trickster Eddie Guerrero, which was incorporated into the weekend showdown tournament. I took a look and he was in the top 50 for the event, which required a few specific guys to max out. I don't think you could get that high without pulling a little bit along the way.

Before that were similar types of events for Tommasso Ciampa and Psyco Sid. In addition, Earthquake has been available through pulls and safes throughout the month of May. Again, I could see some spending but there is really no telling how extravagant he may have gotten with it. I will say that he is currently not in the top 100 for the monthly event.

However, a straight spend event started today for the new Hall of Fame Brie Bella character. Pulls are very expensive for this one at $6.99 for a SINGLE PULL and $99.99 for 16. Complete insanity as always. At this point he is not on the leaderboard but I will keep an eye out.

Can we find him without knowing what guild he is in?
You can only search factions, not individual players.

Probably just check the leaderboards of whatever contest is going on, tbh.
Don't think there are any contests currently. A Faction Feud starts in 1d 11h at the time of this posting. When these finish, we get the results on the Google Sheets spreadsheet that's been posted on this thread.

The last Faction Feud was apparently too glitchy to even participate, so they ended it early and didn't post the results. This event was the same time fake DSP left Road Warriorz previously. Best guess is that he has a better Faction that lets him join for these Feuds, then agrees to let him leave.

I guess they don't ordinarily let you change your name unless there is overwhelming evidence that dozens of autists are harassing you.

Hypothetically like if people spammed every single tweet on the WWE Champions account with DSP memes.

They might make an exception in that case.
