Women’s sizes are impossible. There’s no way to purchase anything unless you look at a size chart with measurements. I fit anywhere from a size zero to a size 8 because of bullshit vanity sizing- brands who cater to “curvy girls” tend to be the worst offenders.

It's also a quality control issue in an age of fast fashion, because of the way garments are cut by machine in a pile of fabric. What is cut as say, a 8, will vary considerably in size from top to bottom of the pile. You can really see this is cheapshit brands made in the shittiest Chinese/Bengali factories, such as good old Primark clothing. You can find two shirts/pairs of jeans with the same size label and the actual measurements on them will vary by an inch or sometimes way more. Of course nothing is checked or discarded for being wildly to one side or other of where they're meant to be, because cheapshit factories. Sometimes the same style varies in size by colour.,with say,the blue version of the 8 ending up an inch larger or smaller in every dimension than the red 8. This has been more and more of thing right across the board with brands as everyone moved manufacturing to the worst areas of Asia.

She's not wrong, though, as much as I want to find something wrong with what she wrote. She won't keep people from watching the show, though. One can argue that she is trying to block other fatties from seeking help, but desperate people are not going to deny help just because she says so.

That said, the answer is not to normalize the lifestyle we see on MSHPL. I get wanting to provide help to a person without destroying their dignity, but there is no dignified way to remove a behemoth who cannot walk or fit through a door from their dwelling. And think of the dignity of these people's caregivers. The ones who live with the stench, physical and emotional abuse and other horrors for years and have tried everything they know to help these folks. A relatively short period of indignity for the super fatty is hard to compare to a possible lifetime of trying to care for them.

Indignity and shame (which none of these cows have any) is a great motivator for change. The reason these obeasts get so huge is because they either have no shame or no one holds them accountable; or bolth.

For these 'activists', that's the beauty of social media - they can make these grand sweeping statements that don't hold up to even superficial examination. What does "indoctrinated by thinness even mean? Even a overtly liberal talk show would ask for a definition, an explanation of that. But there's little questioning on their platforms & even if there was, they can police their replies/comments.

ETA: with social media they can also redefine the argument or point of discussion & probably hope that repeated use of THEIR vocabulary changes how people view the issue. Using 'thinness indoctrination' as an example - the real point is that we try to educate ourselves & our children about healthy norms in all aspects of life; I don't recall learning anywhere that someone being fat gave me leeway to chase after them with a sharpened pitchfork, hoping to run the "HORRIBLE FAT PERSON" through.

George has never dealt with the food pushers--those overweight-and-up people who keep offering or giving unwanted food to Thins, or who push them to take more food than they already have, and don't take "No thank you," or, "I have enough," as an answer. Virgie's refusal to cut smaller slices of cake is the most conscious and deliberately malicious version of this.

I will never not find it hilarious that so many fats (like Lilith Fury) insist that they are Good Fatties who eat no more than the thin people around them do, or (like Jude and Arielle Jane) that they eat even less (sometimes even dangerously small amounts, what with all their skipped meals)--while we also have fats like Virgie, or Tess, or Dani telling fatgirls that it's okay to eat All the Things, without limit, without shame, and that their fat bodies deserve the pleasure food brings.

You don't really need to throw dying food-dumpster Chantal into the mix for a bit of ugly reality to make the farce complete.

Hi everyone! I’m new here and thought I should finally post here and stop lurking . I come here from GG and excited to be here too!

One of my favorite piece of shit plus size influencers is Learningtobefearless aka Alexandra Thomas.

Here is a current photo of her from IG and her latest try on haul from Shein. She constantly says she is a 2X size 18 and has been working out and eating healthy since January. An amazing twist to the story is she has probably gained 150 pounds. Recently, she has been begging fans to meet 400k subscribers on YT and thought the pandemic was an awesome time to take her fans money if they join her YT membership tier.

Alex has enjoyed catfishing fans by photoshopping her body in pics. Magically her quadruple chins disappear and reappear on a daily basis.

Oh, LTBF is a piece of work indeed. She's followed the time-honoured path of BOPO activists by simply inflating with every passing year, spouting LUV YERSELF mantras while 'shopping the pounds off of herself, managing her angles, and outright lying about sizing. Seems she hasn't changed at all, except to get even fatter. Does she still cry in her car every time she visits a doctor and they mention her weight as a net negative for her health? Does she still fight the hormonal acne that got worse and worse as she got more and more obese? Has she found a replacement black boyfriend for the one that ran away?

As I recall, back when she was much smaller, she had a lapband fitted in Mexico, which she later had removed for whatever reason. She also had lipsuction on her jawline. Unfortunately for her, it's all grown back and then some.

She's the most aggavatingly dull, bovine, basic cow possible out of the current stable though, and that says something. She makes Anna look spicy, ffs. So I haven't seen anything of hers in a couple of years, there are far better cows to watch if one feels the need to cringwatch or whatever.

She is still overly sensitive to any constructive feedback from fans and spends most her days blocking her own fan base and deleting comments that are not kissing her ass. Lately, she has been showing off her Kermit....errr Drake look-alike fiance Bubba #2, she bought a 600k house and is already talking about moving after her wedding, she surgically removed her fupa last Fall, and grows a new chin every month. She is obsessed with BOHO decor yet her house is bland and cluttered with Home Goods and Target junk so just another thing she talks about and has no idea what it is.

Her channel has literally been a grocery haul channel where she highlights how much cheese and chili she eats because she LOVES to cook. She is very basic and has a limited vocabulary of a toddler with a lisp on top of it. Lately, she has been using blaccent in all her videos and has her man slave paint her toe nails for her since she can't bend down and do it herself at 28 years old. She looks more like a 50 + year old with saggy titties and a flat buttocks.
