Twitter Hides POTUS Tweet

Question, would another 'western' civilization, like say the UK, be an inferior but still stable replacement for some of these sites to move to?
Probably not the UK. I know Dear Leader suggested Estonia, which is hilarious when you realize this means the former Soviet Bloc is potentially more free than the United States.
I'm fully aware of what 230 is, and I've also read his EO. He's not saying "erase 230." He's saying "remove the protections for places that aren't playing by the rules."
I read the EO too. While it's not quite as bad, it still sets a bad precedent. Another president might use that as a reason to shut down any website they don't like.

Trump rarely pisses me off, but I'm official pissed off. It makes me not want to vote at all.

I knew Trump was doing this for his own sake to protect his fragile ego. While they eat it up and encourage

I know that you and people like you, pathetically, find stuff like this so emotionally gratifying you can't help yourselves, but it's enough to criticize the President's clearly wrongheaded actions here and explain why. Not everything has to tie into a grand unified theory about your embarrassing TDS and how the winner you hate actually loses because he's "thin-skinned," or has "small hands" or whatever talking point coping mechanism you've decided to use today.

You're not going to get anyone who isn't in "Twitter echo chamber" lockstep with you to even consider that your position might be right if you're constantly sperging out as hard as you can.

TL;DR: Your eternal moral outrage is not meaningful. Good arguments are meaningful.

So is yours.
Give some good arguments about the topic or BTFO.

Fucking Lmao
No website is being shut down, Null is just throwing a bitchfit tantrum because he is a millennial snowflake :tumblr: :tumblr: who can't take a slight inconvenience

When you vote for a president that saves your country, you should abide by all of their rules to make america great again!
That's nice.

I can't exactly argue with that.

I'm baffled that this is a thing, the one that was targeted for a decade or so, does not benefit anybody at all. At what logic does "Hm, I got bantered on. Better remove the last bastion of free speech!" makes sense? The fuck?
What if some family relative(s) of theirs use Youtube or Facebook and get surprised said relative(s) hate the action of making YT/FB die?
This is so beyond tech-illiterate that I can't wrap my head on this. How do you get beyond that?
I'm going to unleash my inner pessimistic doomer here when I say this:
It benefits the politicians, as it removes a way for people to quickly coordinate against them, and removes a means for people to speak out against and/or about government abuses. It benefits both politicians and the traditional media as information can now be tightly controlled (worrying when you consider 99% of the media goes to bat for one political party, and only one.) In short, it benefits the people in power.
And if you believe that the people in power won't be exempt from this nonsense, I've got some seaside property in Omaha, Nebraska to sell you.

For the record this is what happens when people into politics are clearly schizo with wanting one thing but then not liking the solution to it.
If you fucking fear monger about SJWs ruining society, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET. And you should learn to live with your rhetoric leading to shit you didn't want. Ironically many of these same people were liberal leaning retards to begin with so hah. Get fucked.
lol shut up exceptional individual.

Is this like when everyone screeched for a month straight about net neutrality and then nothing happened? Or is it like when everyone screeched for a month straight about the EU censoring websites and then nothing happened?

No my fellow kekhistanis you don't understand he hates the libs as much as you do so he must be a good guy, the Republican party is famous for it's respect for civil liberties.

Afterall woke teenagers dislike him so he must be a good guy.

Nono, this time is different because orange man used an extra !
Y-you will all see!

I respect everyone in this thread and their concern over the sanctity of the internet. However, after some personal reflection, I've realized I care much less about its continued promise of existance than I previously thought.
At the end of the day, I can still whisper nigger into my pillow after a hard day's work in Bezos's diamond mines. If anyone needs me post-internet I'll be at the Milwaukee Public Museum laughing at fat kids.

I'll be at my local library playing chess and watching parents bring their autistic 20-something manboy and seeing whether or not they sperg out or not.

You're right, he's not saying "erase 230." He's saying "REVOKE 230!"
